GBW
I caught a musky in the Whitby area one time while (just a few years ago) chucking spoons. Needless to say I was VERY shocked and when I tried to get the fish ready to release, it spit the hooks and flopped back in. I have a pic only of the wet mark it left behind... jedimaster
Yah I don't think there are many there, but there would have to be some in the water. I also recall hearing about a dump of muskie near Bronte as well.

highdrifter
It's the Great Lakes. Anything's possible - from tiger muskie in Toronto harbour to coaster brook trout showing up at the Streetsville fishway. That's why I love it here. You never know what you'll catch next. Not a coaster... They probably said it was because of it's size.
Gregoire
Not a coaster... They probably said it was because of it's size. Why not? There are sea run rainbows, what would stop a brookie from doing the same?
BillM
Why not? There are sea run rainbows, what would stop a brookie from doing the same? Very possible, but doubtful. If there were a population of coasters in Lake O, there would be a lot more people catching them. Just a big bruiser from the Credit.
