Saving a Musky

Detroit River musky had eyes bigger than it's stomach. Two guys saved a musky that tried to eat a huge sheephead that it couldn't swallow. Good job by a couple of sportsmen!

hmmmm.. interesting... not sure if that fish would have survived, but good on them for trying.

yeah... the added stress of taking pictures and measurements of the fish out of the water wasnt great for the fishes well being...especially in this situation...

 

but then again neither was the 5 pound drum stuck in its mouth...lol

Good on them for saving that fish, I don't know if you guys noticed but that sheep head was still moving, kinda creepy.

Good for you guys,the sheephead will be picked up by a bird or something?. The fact is if you did nothing the musky was done, I would think anyways.
