ah_long Posted October 22, 2011 Author Report Posted October 22, 2011 here's a few decent deals I've sent my fd http://detroit.craigslist.org/wyn/boa/2651251971.html http://detroit.craigslist.org/mcb/boa/2644994709.html http://www.boattrader.com/listing/1998-Alumacraft-Tournament-Pro-170-100127121 http://www.boattrader.com/listing/2003-Crestliner-16-Angler-Sc-99873091 http://www.boattrader.com/listing/2002-Tracker-Tournament-V18-99160260
BillM Posted October 24, 2011 Report Posted October 24, 2011 (edited) Why?? There are some excellent prices here at home. Check the classified section. The 2005 Crestliner for $12,500 without trolling motor......with trolling motor $13,000. You can't get that boat in the states for that price. Plus, you have to pay your 13% tax at the boarder....due the math. Good Luck. Wait, don't you sell boats in the US and resell them here for profit? Edited October 24, 2011 by BillM
ah_long Posted October 25, 2011 Author Report Posted October 25, 2011 rebuilt the water pump today, took some time to find that shift rod connector screw did some vacuuming and cleaning...

More power to you, but don't be suggesting others on here shouldn't be doing it. Edited October 25, 2011 by Dutch

BillM Posted October 25, 2011 Report Posted October 25, 2011 Just made the long haul back from Michigan with something hitched to the rear of the truck I'll post up some pics when I can.. As long as you have your ducks in a row, it's a very simple process.
bigbuck Posted October 25, 2011 Report Posted October 25, 2011 I guess the OP wasn't looking for a Crestliner. Why should he buy your boat??? Congrats on your purchase and I'm sure you'll have her looking and running great in no time.

ah_long Posted October 29, 2011 Author Report Posted October 29, 2011 gonna wait for the Laser II 22" to come in... and she should be all done and ready to go by around mid Nov, this engine will look so much nicer on her
Dutch Posted October 29, 2011 Report Posted October 29, 2011 gonna wait for the Laser II 22" to come in... and she should be all done and ready to go by around mid Nov, this engine will look so much nicer on her Pretty big prop for a 115. Did you research it beforehand? Guy in ny club has one and it is a real dog getting on plane. Even worse with full livewell. 20 or 21 may be something to look at.
ah_long Posted October 29, 2011 Author Report Posted October 29, 2011 ya, did some research, my boat is a 16' so the 22" should be fine.. it would give it a higher top speed but the hole shot would suffer, I'll be looking for a 4 blade 20" pitch as well to play around with

Athree blade 21 on your boat would probably be great. Are you putting a jack plate on it?
