Bob Devine Posted March 1, 2011 Report Posted March 1, 2011 Great to feel the warmth of the sun and see all this snow melting knowing that open water walleye season is only 1 month away. I was at the Outdoorama in Novi Michigan talking fishing with many and hearing that they have had enough of "Old Man Winter" The Detroit River will be free of ice and the walleye bite is just around the corner. Where is everyone headed for their first open water trip?
