baitrummer
I have recently acquired these genuine Heddon 'spooks' and a Shakespeare 'Triumph' level winding reel. Both the reel and the lures have the origional box. The reel still has it's papers. All are in very good condition. I have no intention using this gear but I am interested if anyone could tell me some interesting information regarding them. Thanks Edited November 27, 2010 by Hairwig
dave524
The reel is probably one from the John Inglis years, my first reel was a hand me down from Dad, an Inglis made Shakespeare, one of the ones with the green sideplates. http://www.ontariolures.com/reels/inglisreel.html

Beans
Before Rapals came into vogue, River runts, Pikie minnows, Jitterbugs and Crazy Crawlers were the only plugs I owned...Not much good for carp though... I think that reel pre-dates the Shakespeare "Wonder Reel" I received for Christmas when I was twelve...(1948) Edited November 27, 2010 by Beans
