bdox Posted October 28, 2010 Report Posted October 28, 2010 Today I decided to work from home (gotta love software development), and I took a late lunch. Instead of going to McDonalds or cooking up a pot of KD, I grabbed the only two rods I had rigged up, a crankbait and dropshot, and headed down to the bay. With 50k winds out of the West, I was throwing my deep diving crankbait off a point but had nothing to show for it. I moved to the calm side of the point and threw my dropshot about 20ft from shore into 15fow. I let is sit on taught line and gave if a couple jiggles. I had a very light tap and set the hook on this ugly little thing! http://www.flickr.com/photos/photocentric/
NAW Posted October 28, 2010 Report Posted October 28, 2010 (edited) That's one ugly fish. I wonder if it's a birth defect, or battle scars. Edited October 28, 2010 by NAW
jimmer Posted October 28, 2010 Report Posted October 28, 2010 Looks like it ripped off a stringer. Just goes to show that some fish can take a beating and keep on swimming.
Leecher Posted October 28, 2010 Report Posted October 28, 2010 It must of been weird to lip that thing to remove the hooks
Guest Johnny Bass Posted October 28, 2010 Report Posted October 28, 2010 Ugly fish. Looks like a predator(movie) fish.lol
BiggFish Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 Hey Bdow, When you say the bay what bay are you referring to ? LPB? Chad

BiggFish Posted October 31, 2010 Report Posted October 31, 2010 Hey, I was not aware of there being much in the Hammy Harbour? Especially buckets. Are they easy to target there? Chad
