  1. Looking for info on lake Temiscaming . Not looking for spots just general information. - hows the walleye/sauger bite during ice fishing season . Do they bite in the evening or day. Are they hard to locate -Which side of the lake is better ,ontario or quebec side -How strict are the live bait laws for the invincible line of the provincial boundries .
  2. I can't just pick one.... Facts of fishing, Jp Derose, Fish'n'Canada,Next bite, Musky hunter, Lindners angling edge,Lost lake ( it be alot better if it be a multi-species show tho not just bass ) , Real fishing, Canadian Sportsfishing and Big city fishing gets my attention also... There's one thing that bothers me tho when I watch a fishing show is that when you start watching a show and they start saying our guide, our guide, our guide.... blah blah I never used a guide... Don't wanna use one unless I would get invited by friends on a big charter or something, because it wouldnt be my fish it would be somebody else bringing us there wich in my book isnt called fishing, and I would definitely not take a guide to make a fishing show?? What does this say about the show? That the host can't find fish? Shows would be alot more interesting if they wouldn't use guides at all... If I'm watching a fishing show and they keep talking about our guide, our guide blah blah I ussually change channels Because it might as well be the Guide's fishing show not the hosts The fun is finding the fish , it's not interessting if the host keeps talking about the spots they found and they have a guide haha Find your fish ! That's what fishing is all about! That's when I would watch even more fishing shows
  3. I'm a welder and have welded several of them... The problem is that they are not meant for big waters, if you go in big waves with them you can't bang them at all just coast the waves... I owned a tracker for 3 years without any leaking problems because I am not hard at on my boats I slow down in big waters.. Takes a little more time but alot less hard on yr boats. Now to fix your problem take the whole boat apart, get a good aluminum welder to mig weld the boat at more points than stock ( there are not welded enough thats their main problem ) It might warp a bit but it rather be a little bit warped than leaking right?? Then get a somebody who is good with a Tig to tig weld all the cracks from outside the boat ( yes u will see the welds but who cares its in the water ) If u want it to last this is what u gotta do... if u mig weld the cracks it wont last just mig weld the braces inside and install new or more braces as needed... Hope this helps, and tracker won't do anything probably, that's why i fixed so many lol
  4. I got some bad news today... I thought my splint was coming off today, but it will only be in another 2 weeks ... But i'll still try to go for a visit. If i can't go Goodluck to all you guys... If I'd be fishing for a living i would'nt of hurt myself lol
  5. If your gonna release them in winter you gotta be really quick or dont take them out of the hole at all ... it's worst for them in winter than summer Just pop the jig out and flip them around
  6. And most shows do use guides but they aren't shown on camera... Only us real fishing guys don't use guides... I never used a guide and never will ! I find my own fish, Thanks you
  7. Getting anxious to hit the hardwater!

  9. Shrimp man ! Buy shrimp rings and cut the shrimp in three pieces and tie 4 little single hooks on your line and fish them at different dept its killer!
  10. NO time for restaurants I'm going fishing! lol A bag of chips, pepperettes and a couple of pepsi's is all i need !
  11. The Fastest I ever went in a boat was 87 mph in a 32' cigar boat with two 502 supercharged... My 15' boat with a 25 hp mercury might go around 25-28mph lol
  12. I've been out of the Fishing world a while now... I can't go Fishing and was having trouble typing... Now im healing slowly but surely! It will be soon enough that I can get back into the fishing action! What happend is that I was grinding a piece of steel and the grinder slipped and it cut my hand... It was deep enough to cut the tendon! I had to get operated and spent overnight in the hospital... I had my family members bring me lots of fishing magazines during that time!! I've been thinking, dreaming and reading on Fishing since the accident... I can't wait to hit the water again! I hope to get in some hardwater action soon enough!! My left hand was basicly useless without the use of my thumb but now I'm gettin the hang of it, therefor I'm able to type with my two hands now At the beginning it would take me a long time to write something because my left hand was hurting so much... Soon I'll be out there where I belong!!
  13. Did u pretrend it was your's and you were a crossdresser lol
  14. Your gonna have to start ice fishing man! lol If not your gonna be watching lots of fishing shows on TV , reading lots of fishing magazines... and watching lots of hockey games lol Dress warm and get out there... If you want fish that have lots of action during the winter months go for some pike, lake trout, whitefish, perch or some splake fishing. Splake is my favorite during the winter months because they will bite all day and are very aggressive just gotta do some research to make sure wich lakes have been stocked from year to year
  15. Splake can be very funny at times... but the best way is to "run & gun" for them. I've caught Splake in as shallow as 2' deep and as deep as 30-40', they are very unpredictable. Don't stay at the same place for too long, fish one spot for not more than 1 hour and if nothing bites move till you find fish... If they are there they will bite right away, ussually in the first 10-15 min you start fishing at one spot. One little tip of advice is on one line use shrimps ( they work awesome if the fish are of a smaller size ) and on the other line use a very lively minnow on a jigging rod. The rod is better since you can jig it in an up and down motion, you can jig it up to 3-4' jigging motions they seem to love this... If on the particular lake you are on dosen't allow live minnows, buy live minnows the night before put them in a ziplock bag and salt them, draining the water. Insert them in the fridge and the next morning your good to go, I've done awesome with salted minnows also Goodluck !
  16. If it was me I'd look into north bay... Nicer, cleaner town and less population around 60 000 - 70 000 approx. but thats my opinion and theres lots of awesome fishing from 5 min to 1h30 away theres lakes all over!!
  17. We should all do a fishing outing wearing costumes lol

  19. Kool looking bug but harmful consequences
  20. Ok this is my conclusion on my topic and it's the last thing I will say... You guys who release fish even if it dies , i'm not saying it's wrong. But it's wrong in my mind, if the fish is legal everyone should keep it and if it's illegal it's up to you. If you follow the law good for you I'm glad your following the law But "MY" law says that wasting fish is wrong too some people say that it won't be wasted something else will eat it... Yes it is true something will eat it or even leeches will chew on it but the fact of the matter is I killed it and my morals and my mind won't be right if I just leave it floating.... Sorry it's just how I feel, I think there's two ways too look at it... Me I do what i think is right not what the law says... Wasting is against my nature, i don't like wasting anything for that matter, and leaving a fish there in my mind that i killed myself is considered wasting from my point of view... I follow every limit and every slot size like I invented them myself even if a fish is right on the line when it's considered legal I release it, and over the slot fish are all released but if it's gonna die my consience won't be at ease to have killed a fish and left it floating... It's almost like murder and hiding the body in the bush with the famliy members unknowing of where the body is, that is just how i think... Sorry it's my opinion and others can have different opinions and it's all right there is nothing wrong with that and no i'm not gonna buy golf clubs ! lol
