Cudz Posted April 21, 2009 Report Posted April 21, 2009 (edited) Lots of new high end lures at CTC Barrie South store. Just a few examples: Gary Yamamoto 5" Senkos Fin-tech jigs (both knuckle ball jigs and football jigs) Trigger X Pheremone baits (quite a good selection of grubs creature baits, stick worms and sprays) Lunker something tube jigs that look like they are really good quality. There was a couple of newer rapalas as well. The big glider shad looked nice. Lots of new gulp zoom money minnow swimbaits Lindy's new jig system (interchangeable heads and hooks. complete lineup) Those Trigger X products look the business. Might splurge for some. They are not cheap though. i bought some knuckle ball jig heads. They were fairly resonable. Edited April 21, 2009 by Cudz
GBW Posted April 21, 2009 Report Posted April 21, 2009 Whitby North has done the same with the new gear. Just an FYI for those out in that area like me...
ADB Posted April 21, 2009 Report Posted April 21, 2009 Remember how much they're selling the Senkos for, Cudz?
Ramble Posted April 21, 2009 Report Posted April 21, 2009 I was in the CT in Belleville today and walked into the fishing section and went "WOW! When did this happen?" The hunting section has gone right doen the crapper...although i was only looking for a trigger lock anyway. -Dave
Cudz Posted April 21, 2009 Author Report Posted April 21, 2009 Remember how much they're selling the Senkos for, Cudz? $9.99 per package
MCTFisher9120 Posted April 21, 2009 Report Posted April 21, 2009 Same item's and prices here at the Oshawa CT across from the Oshawa Center->lot's of great baits and item's not so great prices.
Lunker777 Posted April 21, 2009 Report Posted April 21, 2009 The Canadian tire in here is really stocked up too ! I was very impressed . At the moment they have a 33lbs 30" shaft minnkota for $115
Garnet Posted April 21, 2009 Report Posted April 21, 2009 Last year north Whitby CT was a joke will stop by and check. The south Whitby CT was always very good. For 15 years the north Oshawa CT was heavy weight champ. Bowmanville just sucks. Now recently the very very best CT is the one in south Kingston I was stunned at the selection. Talk about over priced plastic I was in Gagnons yesterday and 5 Mr Twister crappy baits were $10.99 beside a 15 bag Yammanmoto crappy baits $4.99 beside Phantom 20 count for $3.99, them twisters must be good. I bought 3 phantoms 2 yammy and went fishn and ate a hotdog at beefsteak. Garnet
Guest steel'n'esox Posted April 21, 2009 Report Posted April 21, 2009 The CT store in Lindsay is a test store as well as Kinston as Garnet mentioned, they have highend rods Crucials, Carot Stiks etc, a Bass selection like no other around here, plastics galore, floro leaders and leader materials, and all the other goodies and yes even tires
tschirk Posted April 22, 2009 Report Posted April 22, 2009 (edited) If you find their prices high, then ask them to price match.... Edited April 22, 2009 by Ted & the Gadget
ohhenrygsr Posted April 22, 2009 Report Posted April 22, 2009 Told you guys Crappy Tire is steppin it up
misfish Posted April 22, 2009 Report Posted April 22, 2009 South end Canadian tire is owned and operated by an outdoorsmen. He knows what sells and dosent.Just have a look at his turkey hunting section.
dada2727 Posted April 22, 2009 Report Posted April 22, 2009 I too was also surprised when I walked into the CT in Lindsay. Picked up some shakey head jigs and finese worms, flippin jigs, hooks and some bullet sinkers. They were still adding stuff when I was there monday, so should be stocked right up this weekend. They even have a respectable Musky selection now, not just a couple M/G's and some Kickin minnows anymore!
