fishing n autograph Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 Hey Guys, There's a nasty storm on the way to the GTA and surrounding areas....right now is freezing rain here in Kitchener. Just be careful! Dave
ccmtcanada Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 Thanks...seems Toronto to Oshawa along the 401 may get lucky...places close to the shores of Lake O is supposed to get mostly rain/wet snow. Still going to make the drive slick and slow in the morning, but better than that freezing stuff and snow.
Mattones Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 Just drove home from Flambrough. 30- 40km the entire way and still felt the car slipping. This guy in a SUV passed me and about 2 miles down the road it was in a ditch. I got out and asked if he was alright and was flipped off. Some people.
Leecher Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 Here in the Outaouais suppose to get 10-15cm of snow. Lots of wind right now and flakes coming down

People like that were my main inspiration for moving.
irishfield Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 But of course he flipped him off.. when he asked... "hey hole... are you alright? "
joefish Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 Irishfield, tsk, tsk, tsk....I'd have done the same thing!
pikehunter Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 Drove home on the Lincoln Alex. PKWY and Red Hill PKWY from work in Ancaster around 9 PM. I t was getting nasty. I did OK in my old Aerostar with just all season tires, but I'm careful and use the gas pedal very gingerly. I passed 2 cars in the ditch and saw one spin out coming in the other direction. You just have to take it easy, slow down, be cautious, think and look ahead. The who gave you the bird deserves what he got. You should have been pointing your finger at him and laughed.
hammercarp Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 During the first winterstorm it's always an SUV or a 4x4 pick-up that are the first to crash.
