We did this last year, but I'm sure many have forgotten or were not here for this last year.

Please post your cold weather/fall Quinte tips!

Here's mine:

As most will be wearing Floatation Suits, here's a tip. If your returning to the cabin for lunch, take your suit off and turn it inside out. Same for over night. You will be amazed at how much moisture builds up inside your suit, while you wear it. Can make for a very uncomfortable day on the water.

Ok... your turn!

- drain plug (good all-season advice)

- gas line antifreeze / RV antifreeze for livewells & bildge

- rain-ex on your windshield so you don't have to scrape in the morning (esp. handy on curved plastic windshields)

- be gentle with your clear side curtains in the cold

- don't spin on the ramp (brakes/put in gear/light throttle/ease off brakes)

- don't wear cotton as a base layer

- don't puke in your buddies new boat
