ICE FISHING ANYONE

I was thinking of doing some fishing this weekend either at Cooks bay or Island lake or even a small quarry I know for Crappies and large Blues.

 

Is there anuone who would like to venture out, I am dying to fish and all the reports I have been getting is good for the weekend..

Unless you came equipped with Jesus sandals and know where the rocks are, I wouldn't go more than 2 feet of the side of Cooks Bay yet. That is unless maybe you have a "wish".

I would join you but I'm all tied up. Saturday I'm going to my neice's b-day out in George Town. And Sunday I have an appointment with the "Jesus" himself to discuss my future fishing plans.

I`ve been to Belwood Lake couple of times, right underneath the Dam.

Nothing but small pike and catfish was cought that day.

 

Did the lake actaully freeze or you guys will be fishing from the shore??

 

I live around Kitchener myself and always looking for new spots.

guys i just called the belwood lake office and they said only 1 inch of ice has formed damnn, now where to go thinking of maybe scugog, just maybe...

Well I was fishing on Tuesday on this gravel pit near Cambridge and there was consistant 4-5 inches of ice ( punch bowl and no wind) We killeed the crappies and blue gills..... I was hoping with all the cold weather we are having the ice might form...
