DMASSE Posted January 19, 2007 Report Posted January 19, 2007 Hello I was thinking of doing some fishing this weekend either at Cooks bay or Island lake or even a small quarry I know for Crappies and large Blues. Is there anuone who would like to venture out, I am dying to fish and all the reports I have been getting is good for the weekend.. Anyway let me know by email [email protected] or call me at the store. (416) 651-6436 Thanks Dave
Fisherman Posted January 19, 2007 Report Posted January 19, 2007 Unless you came equipped with Jesus sandals and know where the rocks are, I wouldn't go more than 2 feet of the side of Cooks Bay yet. That is unless maybe you have a "wish".
urbanangler1990 Posted January 19, 2007 Report Posted January 19, 2007 my dad and i are going to belwood, most likely, if ya interested?
joonmoon Posted January 19, 2007 Report Posted January 19, 2007 Where are ya? I would luv to get out locally to Kitchener but don't have anyone to go with. Sunday is my only day.
Greencoachdog Posted January 19, 2007 Report Posted January 19, 2007 Ooo! Ooo! Ooo! Me! Me! Me!... where can I buy the Jesus sandals?.. and would you mind swinging by Alabama to pick me up?
dsn Posted January 19, 2007 Report Posted January 19, 2007 I would join you but I'm all tied up. Saturday I'm going to my neice's b-day out in George Town. And Sunday I have an appointment with the "Jesus" himself to discuss my future fishing plans. dsn
ricoboxing Posted January 19, 2007 Report Posted January 19, 2007 if ya go 2 cooks bay, dont 4get 2 bring ur float tube
Marko Posted January 19, 2007 Report Posted January 19, 2007 I`ve been to Belwood Lake couple of times, right underneath the Dam. Nothing but small pike and catfish was cought that day. Did the lake actaully freeze or you guys will be fishing from the shore?? I live around Kitchener myself and always looking for new spots.
wuchikubo Posted January 19, 2007 Report Posted January 19, 2007 Dmasse, I'd be interested, where do you think there might be ice? HF
luv2drift Posted January 19, 2007 Report Posted January 19, 2007 THERE"S NO SAFE ICE ON COOK'S BAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I live on it. and Jesus won't be pulling you out of the water. He'll be sending you to hell for being an idiot and walking out on and inch and a half of ice.
pigeonfisher Posted January 19, 2007 Report Posted January 19, 2007 I live near bellwood and I wouldn't trust it yet. Maybe Kyle will chirp up.

DMASSE Posted January 19, 2007 Author Report Posted January 19, 2007 Well I was fishing on Tuesday on this gravel pit near Cambridge and there was consistant 4-5 inches of ice ( punch bowl and no wind) We killeed the crappies and blue gills..... I was hoping with all the cold weather we are having the ice might form...
