medmart Posted July 5, 2008 Report Share Posted July 5, 2008 This morning was the start of the Salmon derby so i headed out at 5am the launch was busy by the time i got there and i only live 5 minuets away the morning started out slow marked a lot of fish then around 9am got my first fish which i lost at the side of the boat number 2 went the same way then came number 3 got him on the down rigger in 125fow and 80 feet down this one i got in the boat so off i went to the weigh station weighed in at 23.28 i will be back out again tonight Rob Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Joeytier Posted July 5, 2008 Report Share Posted July 5, 2008 GOOD FISH! I've been out four times in the past 5 days and hooked at least 7 fish every time. This morning I was out off of Bowmanville, and went 7 for 9 with 4 rainbows and 3 chinook. The biggest chinook was about 13 and the biggest bow was about 9. The biggest chinook I've landed thus far has been 26, but a few more twenty plus fish have been boated as well. Lake O has been very good to me recently!
