Why would you care if he left Rapala or not? If Mercer left Rapala would the taildancer cease to catch fish? Would Targets catch more if he joined them? I like Mercer as much as the next guy but jesus. If he left Fuji to join Canon would Fuji's cameras go downhill and Canon finally make it over the top? None of this makes sense. I agree with your sentiment but completely disagree with your statement. Many songs have been chanted in history to invoke violence. I am still not for anyform of censorship.

Just to clarify this point a little. I meant it as a joke and am still snickering a little. When you censor and substitute you have to stereotype and make generalizations to make it work. I am of the belief that you should not censor and allow the people hearing or reading or watching it make their own decisions. Now you probably willnot find a lot of homosexuals offended at the idea that they generally have good fashion sense but that does not mean that it is not a stereotype. Be hard on the States all you want but it does not change the fact that they actually have true freedom of speech in their constitution and official seperation of church and state. Two things that we do not have here. I would like all the bigots and idiots to be allowed a soap box to stand on in this country that way we would know where they are. By censoring them you are taking away the publics right to judge for themselves and forcing the hate underground where we can not keep track of it. Dire Straits is just a rock band and this would seem like no big deal but it is a slippery slope. NO to censorship.

I am assuming that when everyone is typing very good dresser they are really typing f.a.g.g.o.t. It would seem that OFC has deemed the word to be unsuitable as well. I have the same way of thinking. Although I think the song should be left the way it is on the radio. I hate censorship. On a side note it is funny that the OFC filters draw a correlation between homosexuals and good fashion.

I hate to be a stick in the mud but. We are 11 points out of a playoff spot and 8 points out of 9th. So if we win the next 6 games in a row and Atlanta and Carolina lose 6 in a row then we are in it. Will not happen. So lets say it does happen and the leafs crawl their way into 8th spot at seasons end. Then we have to deal with the likes of Philadelphia, Washington, Pittsburgh or even Tampa Bay in the first round. This is a team I would not trust to win a best of seven series against Florida, Columbus or Calgary never mind the others.

I predicted 10th place and on the rise with some hope for next year. I now think they will finish about 10th minus the hope. The 24 million dollar defence is sub par and our 5.5 million dollar 1 dimensional winger is less than spectacular, our 9 million dollar goaltending tandem is watching Reimer put them to shame. The General manager talks out of both sides of his mouth and I am actually starting to feel sorry for that caustic annoying little coach. I continue to be disenchanted with our team. There is little evidence to suggest anything will change anytime soon.
