  1. No one wants them to 'walk'. You are being very disingenuous with that type of argument. If you want to have a reasonable discussion on the matter, then you must proceed with at least a little bit of intellectual honesty. Giving choices of one extreme or the other is, for a lack of a better word, dumb.....
  2. Maybe kids are missing public executions? I would hope this is just hyperbole.
  3. A kinder gentler world via public execution? Sounds like a brilliant idea there Chief. Nothing quite like a good old fashioned hanging or be-heading to warm the heart.
  4. If its a steel tank, some of the rusty crap in the bottom of the tank could have been sucked up because the tank was empty. this could be clogging your injectors and making it sputter.
  5. I got them to do a big Pike for me about 10 years ago and it was awesome. Charged me less than what he quoted because he said he got a great deal on his last shipment of supplies. The pike still looks mint. Great work.
  6. When I don't like something on TV I don't watch it. Seems to me that there is a simple solution to cure your vitriol for the fella. A bunch of people like it so they watch it and if they watch it, it's pretty simple.
  7. This was our warning this morning in Timmins where I am currently working. It is a little balmier here than out your way but it is still a touch cool for my liking. Alerts in effect for Timmins, ON Wind Chill WarningIssued at 5:08 AM EST Thursday 24 January 2013 SUMMARYCold wind chill values of minus 40 to minus 50 this morning. A bitterly cold Arctic airmass has settled over Ontario. Temperatures of minus 30 to minus 35 degrees combined with winds of 15 to 20 km/h will result in extreme wind chill values of minus 40 to minus 50 this morning. Conditions will improve later today as winds diminish and temperatures rise with daytime heating. Extreme caution is advised if outdoors. Frostbite and hypothermia can occur within minutes if adequate precautions are not taken when outdoors.
  8. Great bunch of fish and I for one and thrilled to have you back. Cheers
  9. I am going to put a bunch of random way points on my unit and sell it as a bunch of secret fishing spots and see what I get on eBay.
  10. I have been to Knee Lake Lodge and it was pretty amazing. They call it something different now. It was fun going out in the morning and catching a limit of Walleye in 1/2 an hour, having shore lunch and then watching herds of 40+ inch pike fight over your spoon. But I am with Bill on this one, it would be Plummer's all the way for me.
  11. Great stuff! Nice fish, nice rig, and nice ice!
  12. I love Superdad and Lakerjohn reports. Way to go lads!

    BRUTAL

I read that earlier today. I agree that this addresses the real root of the issue as well.
  14. They are ice fishing on the back lakes. I wish I had the time but I am too busy working. There are endless back trails and endless lakes. It truly is an outdoorsman's paradise. Every 1200 metres or so off of highway 101 or 655 there is another trail going into the bush. When I come back up after Christmas I am going to bring my sled at least. I won't have any time for ice fishing but I might be able to sneak in the odd blast on the sled. A view from my hotel room.
  15. I am in Timmins right now and it is snowing pretty good (again). We are looking at a few more days of it. It has been -10 to -15 for the last few days and below -20 overnight. People are skating on the ponds and snowmobiles are buzzing around. It is -8 right now.
  16. Woo Hoo! Tom Cheek's greatest hits http://www.torontomike.com/2007/08/tom_cheeks_greatest_hits.html
  17. Great looking fish. I love those black spots!
  18. I love how the religious, with there temples, churches, books, wars, monuments, missionaries, blasphemy laws, bigotry and everything else they shove down our throats still have the nerve to tell Atheists to keep there opinions to themselves.
  19. Same here, Great video. I love that type of stuff.
  20. Great video. I was all serious, inspired, and generally in awe with the determination of the young lady, then the 'Hip Hip O'Shea' shirt showed up. I could not help but to laugh out loud, all by myself, in my basement, hundreds of kilometres away, at the humour of people in a very serious situation, of whom I have never met. Best wishes to your daughter and family Wayne.
  21. I have not even begun to gain knowledge on this subject in order to form an opinion yet. So I am not trying to be a smartass or anything but the smallmouth bass were introduced up there by the MNR way back in the day. They used train cars filled with small mouth bass and water. They would dump the bass into the lakes right by where the train tracks came close to the water. If you want to get into good smallmouth fishing way up north look for train tracks and you will find smallmouth lakes. As for the subject matter, I think I will read up on it when I get some time. Cheers.
  22. Kind of like religion I suppose...
