what happened to my motor Wind was calm last night so I went fishing with the wife. A few miles down the lake, tried the first spot, nothing, move to the next. Just getting up on plane and a heckofaracketgrinding noise and the motor shuts down 2010 60hp yamaha Take it out of gear...turn the key, starter wants to turn but won't. Tilt up, nothing there...was in 40 plus feet of water. Electric trolling motor back, luckily a marina was close by to pull into and get a ride to my truck and trailer. Out of the water and turn the prop in neutral..spins fine...put it in gear and try to turn it and it will not budge at all..stuck right tight, can't even fight motor compression. Its at the dealer now...lets see what the verdict is edited to say, yeah, smart ass remarks are welcome except i am on vacation Aug 1st for a week and I need a motor working one way or the other

You said you can't store them horizontal and you don't want to store them vertical What else is there. I get ripped a new one in 2 threads because I suggested taking fewer rods...what a beautiful forum Maybe get a bigger boat
-
If your rods are getting wrecked because of no storage you might want to think of not carrying so many every time you fish. I would think that when you go fishing you have a certain target species and type of fishing you plan for the day. For 40 years I only owned 1 or 2 rods. I now have a few more. But, never would i require 5 or 6 different rods on a days fishing. I was only suggesting that you might want to consider going with a bit less gear if you can't properly store it. Thanks

you can park for free at walmarts

Don't carry 5-6 rods, carry 1-2

There is only one person that is confused about the regulation and he got a $500.00 fine for not having life jackets for his passengers. I still think this is covered in the handbook you read to take a boaters card test The last thing I need is another law forcing me to wear a PFD in my boat. All the CO or OPP has to do is sit somewhere and wait till I take it off to apply sunscreen and jump me with a fine
-
Them seat cushions are way too hard to sit on after the boat flips over...especially after a couple of beers...better off with a jacket that you can do up...this information really should be in the much maligned boaters card testing PS, in Michigan, you have to have a throwing seat cushion along with your life jackets

Nice work....I almost made it up to help next month but plane tickets are a tad expensive

Excuse me but, Sault to Wawa is not "back country" We have a very fine paved road TYVM...
-
Super 8 right on the way in to town is cheap enough I think. A few hundred yards on the left just past first stop lights coming in . Sandros restaurant a hundred yards past it is a good spot to eat...best clubhouse ever..just before the lights is the Roadhouse...my watering hole Adams motel heading out would also be inexpensive. Follow 17N route past the water tower, turn right heading north and its a couple miles up on the left..Giovanis restaurant is a nice place to get italian or the Fiesta or whatever its called next door is cheaper and good. Hog town to Sault is a solid 7 hours and Wawa is 2 hrs and 15 minutes more

I would really like to hear Kathleen Wynnes personal opinion on this...well, not really, but it could be pretty funny

Along with the weeding , working in a bit of bone meal in the spring and a couple doses of miracle grow through the summer. There are some good books on Perenials that help you identify what you have. I built my garden from a bare lot and have about 40 plants now, plus the vegetables

Yeah, but I still really detest this bunch

Then quietly cancel the bear patrol and spend the money on windmills

The MNR doesn't want to be involved anymore...its a bear, let the police deal with it. We have them all over town, nobody bothers anymore. They did trap one a couple weeks ago because it was right downtown and would never find its way out. If there is no trap, shoot it..just make sure you use a 30-06 so you stop it right now instead of a 38 special and chase it around

The Liberal govt is turning the whole province into a joke. All they want to do is pass laws restricting our freedom and expanding their unaccountability. How does the Hydro one CEO still have his job How come our insurance coverage is limited by law just because Kathleen promised to get insurance rates down At least the cops will take care of a bear before a kid gets mauled Now, when are the OPP going to arrest Kathleen for election fraud
