If u wanna draw in big bucks i would go with an aggressive rattle......... but after mid to late december its pretty much a waist of time be it rattling or calling

i ordered about 20 of them online. Took about 4 days to get them. forgot the website but do a search salmo ontario i think. They are priced pretty good.

Looking to get out on six mile lake in the port severn area. Usually fish in the small bay where six mile marina is. Does anybody know how the ice is ?

A friend of mine also had this hut and did the same thing that jdmls did. Worked out ok untill he went out without me. Huts no longer in once piece.

Late friday night i emailed excalibur and told them my problem and asked what my options are. Early this afternoon i got a reply from Steve Sheffel Sales and Marketing Excalibur Crossbow Inc. He told me to call him asap so we can fix my problem. So that is what i did. He told me he will ship me new limbs free of charge and all i have to do is ship him the broken set when my new ones arrive. What a great place and great pepole over at excalibur. That is what i call customer service. Its nice to see a company that stands by thier product. This is how you keep a customer for life. They even called me back about 20 mins ago to verify my dads camo pattern. Limbs are on the way! I will always recommend excalibur for an excellent product and great customer service.

Yeah the service is A 1. I just looked at the bow. I hope they can just put another tip on the limb. My dad is off for the winter starting on the 19th so he wants his bow asap........ Im gonna be hitting the woods every weekend. till closing or till i wack one. Crossing your fingers dosnt work btw......... as i watched 2 diffrent bucks walk away lol

Im gonna wait till my dad gets home so i can take a look and that way i can exlpanin it a lil better. maybe i will head up there tommorrow. My dad sat in my stand while i was at work........ what an A HOLE lol. I have seen a lot of deer from this stand but havent taken a shot yet. His first time in it and he get a shot off............ So i just got the call from my old man 20 mins ago. He took a shot at a buck and missed. (Freaking of course) Took a look at his crossbow and the tip of his limb fell off he has an exomag with magtip limbs. That woulda been buck #3 for him this year. So here is my question does he need a new set of limbs or can the mag tips be replaced and if so where can i get this done............ help me out here gang. Im gonna be busy calling around places and doing some googling....

Hey cliff robs fishing charters is the place to be. He will put you on fish. You should try to go in early January. I would book right away, he is a very busy operator for a reason.

At this time in the season i find that an aggressive rattle is the ticket. I would follow with a few grunts after a good hard 5 min session of rattling. This morning we heard several diffrent bucks grunt back to our rattling. They didn't show thier faces though. I wouldnt over call u have to make it sound realistic. I would stay away from any artificial sents like tinks and so on. At this stage in the game the bucks call tell the diffrence because they have smelt the does in full esterous. Also this late in the season i find it hard to pattern deer in the am hunts. I would try pm hunts. We just got back from the bush and i had a huge 12 pointer 30 yards away but didnt present me with a shot. He came into the rattling. He was in front of me for 15 min in the same spot gave me a lot of time to count the points. I feel your pain, thats the second big buck to hang up in range of me with no shot offering. I hear ya on the long drag. All the deer we arrowed this year we had to drag for 2kms. Make sure u spent some time in the stand in the pm I have a feeling u might get rewarded.

i have an 8" and it does fly through the ice. But i fished outta my friends 10" holes its kinda nice. Mind u i have put a lot of fish through my 8" holes.

I have a 3hp jiffy model 30 ice auger. I was wondering if anyone knows where i can get my hands on a 10" drill bit for it...... ? I only have the power head
