Looking to purchase a musky net. Have had to many close calls trying to scoop them outta the water with my mits. Anyone know of somewhere where i can get a good quality net? Anyone recommend a certain net?

Well after yesterdays battle with the whitefish me and meely decided to give it another go, we even took my old man for his first crack at soft water whities. We tried all the spots that we hauled them in yesterday but the action was SLOW. 2 fish caught and we only had a few bumps. So out we went in search! We broke away from the pack and found some fish holding in about 80fow. williams put most of our fish in the boat but the bad boy did well too. It wasnt as good as yesterday but we did get our limit and also live released a few others! back at my cleaning station

Yup just like ice fishing! lol. Yeah Beans me and Meely got that pic trolling for skis on a jake. Fish was 31" by 17"( no scale but) it had to go 10lbs. Round 2 fellas.......... out the door as we speek!

Well thanks to Sinker and Big Chev, me and Meely decided to hit Simcoe this morning to try our luck at some Whiteys. We arrived at the launch at 7 am. Our directions were to "look for the boats".....So we looked for them, found them and anchored in 65 FOW. Wind was out of the NW at 15 km/h.....water temp 49 degrees. Dropped our lures in at 7:45 am.........8:30....we had our limits. The action was non-stop. Wow.....what a day !! Again, we have never really targeted whities during soft water season and it is thanks to Sinker and Big Chev who offered some great advice which paid off LARGE. A BIG Thanks !! Gonna try fishing pigeon lake on opening day for pickeral......... ya u heard me lol Ive fished it in the past and have never really managed more than 4-5 pics in a day. Was wondering what i am doing wrong i typically fish the north end of the lake and jig weed beds etc. Im not affraid to do some exploring! Im not looking for any honey holes or anything but just a general area and tactic would be great..... Should i head to the south end of the lake? Gannons narrows? Thanks in advance Buckster

i ask my employer for the t2200 and they fill it out for me. I claim everything. Tools, work boots, clothing, gas($4700last year). 407, insurance, cell phone, depriciation (sp?) just a whole bunch of stuff. Its no loss for them. Just after they fill it out make sure you use a good accountant that knows the ins and outs and get him/her to do your taxes.
