we can make this "somewhat" fishing related. Just do a search for Gary Loomis cancer cure. Fishing's very own G Loomis (Gary Loomis) sold G Loomis to Shimano in the early 2000's because he was diagnosed with terminal cancer. I won't spoil the story, but it was quite amazing. Needless to say, he's still with us, and running North Fork Rods. I don't know what to believe.....but we don't know nearly enough about Cancer (or its treatments) to make conclusive decisions as to what methods and/or treatments work best.

bigugli, do you know 'Jaci'? She is a native lady who fishes Jordan Harbour/Hamilton Harbour etc. She has taken 2 pike over 40" in the last couple years...photo's of both are floating around. one from each of the spots above. She is the pike queen, lol.

ugh, ford flex. we had five of us in that thing (the stretch version at that) to head from hamilton to montreal for my bachelor party. not a comfortable drive at all. i bought my suburban shortly afterwards....wish I had it for that trip.

Good on ya! Not an easy job. We have a challenged city, so it is great to hear we have kind folks who help out with our social issues. My brother works for the acquired brain injury clinic here in Hamilton and the stories he tells me......wow.

networking units is badly overrated. (for most peoples needs) if Lowrance had spent more time developing their transducers, and less on networking, the would still be producing the best units on the market... unfortunately that isn't the case.

very true. Trade-ins are one way to get a good deal in the spring. My advice? Call ALL the local marina's, etc, and advise you are looking for a trade in, and be exact with what you are looking for. You may get a call on quick notice.

But the time to buy used has passed. September, October, November (before storage) is the best time to buy used. Your moving into the worst time to buy used (February, March, April) as everyone is gearing up for the upcoming season. If your looking to purchase in the 1st quarter of a new year, buying new will likely be better.

You know, after his contract is up, and if he doesn't retire (which I doubt he will), another team will get him for 1/4 the cost, and he'll be a second line D. In that role, he'll be fine. Just not wearing the "C" and playing against the opposing teams "best".
