Years ago around up here the odd deer was taken by a hungry family out of season. No one complained. But this day and age there is absolutely no excuse for this.

Going by past experience on first year model cars history.......avoid the Fusion like the plague!!!! Seen somewhere in my autoline discussion where the Fusion air filter is $150 bucks(US$) It may end up being a decent car in the future.... but...do you want to chance it?

Hello Lew. Great car. Great company. All my customers that own them-love them. They are well put together. Several of my customers have over 400,000km with normal maintainence.

Just be cautious on similar readings on both cylinders compression test. May be leaking compression between cylinders.

$500 for an outboard isn't a lot but it could be a total waste if it turns out to be a dud. Hey Boatman, the late 50's outboards were works of art. Loved them. We still get them in for repairs. Beautiful engines. Well built , strong and smooooooth. The downside is environmentally very unfriendly and hard on fuel.

I can tell which of my customers feed the birds too. Their car and truck air filter housings are full of bird seed. Seems its a good place for mice and chipmunks to store their seeds in.

It depends on who did the overhaul. Questions: Why did it require the work?Was it overheated?What kind of parts were used? Did they just deglaze the cylinder walls or hone or bore? Were new pistons installed? Was water pump replaced recently?Is there any play in the "Mag Plate"? How many hours on the engine? How is the compression? Is the lower unit capable of holding pressure/vacuum (to keep water out gear lube in)? If the job was properly done these can be a terrific little engine. The early models had a habit of plugging exhaust ports using poor quality and/or too much oil. I may have missed a couple things here but you get the idea. My suggestion would be to take any used engine to a reputable repair shop to have these things checked before a purchase. A few bucks spent before buying can save you huge later (and maybe save a few paddle strokes). If the seller does not agree to it simply dont buy it.

We feed the birds as well.fun to watch the different species. My mother has had a woodpecker for the past few years that taps on the kitchen window when hes hungry.

Just counted all the houses on my street. There are 54. I then counted the ones that I know are hunters. 34 of them I know for sure are and a couple not sure. There are several widows on the street that I know that their husbands used to hunt that I did not include. So Northhunter is correct about percentages. I live in a small community here and other communities nearby are similar. So its quite unfair for the larger population base to control our way of life here. "Semi autos" are used extensively and are no more dangerous than a pump or lever, just nicer to use. Certainly no more accurate.
