I like tachs. If you know the proper RPM range for your engine you know you have the proper propeller for it. And if your prop hub starts to slip or if your prop is damaged you instantly know by the RPM change.

Hey Cliff. Forgot all about that weekend session. Would have been unable to make it to it anyway. Glad to see you caught some fish as well. The weather sure has sucked big time so far here this summer.

Finally had a bit of time to go over the pics that were taken when Gerritt, Corey and Bill came up. This shot Corey took with my camera and it really turned out nice. Thought I would share it with you all. My brother Mike is hauling in and Gerritt is the net man.

Best bang for the buck is a Lightning Rod. Good sensitivity, backbone, cork handle and balance. Cheaper rods tend to be too whippy. When feeling out a new rod I first give it a little shake(hopefully without those darn tags on it) then gently touch the tip on a surface that wont damage the tip and give a sideways motion to feel sensitivity. There is definitely a difference in quality of a good rods

Outdoorsman's predicament reminded me of a question I had for myself last weekend. Friday afternoon we went golfing at a local course. By the end of the afternoons golfing the refreshment cart had been around several times. I'm pretty sure most of us would not pass sobriety testing. Why is it we can drive golf carts but not even have a pina coloda in a paddleboat . I wonder if its because the rulemakers are mostly golfers"?

Why would he be yelling at you? Sounds like he woke up on the wrong side of the bed or somebody crapped in his cornflakes. Any experience I've ever had with cops didn't include getting yelled at.

I my opinion the cop should have given a warning, not a ticket. Those rules were put in place for personal watercraft idiots. Not all drivers of PWC's are idiots mind you. Dont know what your chances are in fighting it because I have never talked to or heard of anyone getting pinched for that.

Gonna have to buy some $10.00 reading glasses at Wal-mart and cut out some plastic polarized sunglasses and stick-em together

Not a lot of them up here Headhunter but have 3 regular customers with them. Been very good for them so far. Parts availability can be an issue here and our local dealer has mixed reports for customer satisfaction. So something to keep in mind if you travel and you do have a problem on the road its possible you may wait a little longer for parts. Personally if one became available to me at the right price I would buy one.
