.....Seems a little steep to me Lew. I had an oil furnace and tank replaced in my previous home (some 12 years ago) for $3000. I was told that the cost of the new furnace was a little higher than normal due to the fact it was a horizontal type furnace which was installed under the house in a crawl space (no basement). The price included the pump out and transfer of the oil in the old tank. I wanted to switch to gas at the time but the cost was quoted at $6000, hence I stayed with oil and the $3000 was added to my monthly budget plan and paid off over 5 years.
I might add I had no replacement plan for the old furnace and the cost quoted was for the purchase and instalation.
....Layzee Acres has everything you're looking for. I've been taking my kids there for years. The lake has bass and pike as well as some walleye and possibly still a few remnant musky. There's a playground for the kids as well as a sandy beach. Fishing off the docks usually provides hours of entertainment for the kids with plenty of panfish.
.....Ahhhh, good to see you both home safe. Twas great to see you both again, seemed like it's been a year since our last gathering. Sorry you were a bit under the weather Joe, came down to say my good-byes Saturday night but you were some what indisposed.
....Man oh man, that is terrible news Don. I know you had lots of money invested in her.
I'm heading out on Friday to the north and I'll be sure to keep pad and paper handy just in case I see anything resembling it. I hope you get it back and the turds are apprehended!
Keep us posted on any news.
....Thanks Mo. Today is the day I've set aside for sorting through my camping and fishing gear for Lakair. Seems like a reasonable way to spend fathers day.
and happy fathers day to the rest of you dads.
.....For me can't beat a Mepps zero (gotta be gold) tethered to 4lb test but I really shouldn't be telling you this. Oh and one other thing, leave the leaders at home.
