Broke out the Shorts this past week & wearing them today, I'm going to force Spring to come, bring on the heat or at least slow down on the wind, I want to get my boat out again SBK

Hey Terry Not trying to stir the pot here but I would tell him if I saw him fishing & know he doesn't have a fishing licence, I'd report him myself, I worked with a guy that didn't have vehicle insurance, I found out after he was on a canoe trip with us & offered to use his vehicle to transport us all back on the vehicle shuffle, after working 7pm until 3:30 am one night an Officer was checking the stores across the street from my house, I went over & told her if she went out to the school & waited for about 10 min this guy would be coming by on his way home, ends up he didn't have a valid licence on the vehicle or insurance, he was let go about a month after that for doing really stupid things, the guys at work asked if I was the one that phoned the Cops on the guy & I said no that I told them face to face across the road from my house SBK

We lost about 25% they looked like they starved to death, all head & no body, one of the guys said it could be a vitamin difficency & they won't eat, we are changing 5 to 10 gallons of water every day & checking the ammonia levels & adding 10mil of chemical every day, the class is on hourly feedings from 7:30 to 4pm, the kids love it, we lost 6 last Monday & 1 Wednesday, I'm on feeding detail Friday & Sunday & the Teacher is coming over Saturday & Monday, under 2 weeks now SBK

What about the guinea pigs LOL what too small to roast SBK

As the days go by the Reports get closer to the end, May 4th the Salmon continue on their voyage to grow up on one of the Saugeen's Tributaries & hopefully be caught by one of us or someone who appreciates the time & effort the local clubs put into making our days on the water a success, it sounds like the teacher is interested in doing this next year so we can continue teaching some kids it can be fun to put back into our Natural Resources, Tight Lines & Have a Great Opener SBK Click the picture for Video

Starting to plan the Stocking trip, the Bus will be ordered today & a notice will be sent home this week, I'm sure Tawnya is ready to move on to her next project, the chickens are going to start hatching today lol, all teachers should have her dedication SBK Click on Salmon for video

I believe once you catch your limit you need to target another species or quit fishing, quit keeping one short of your limit just to be sure your legal SBK

I've canoed the Saugeen for years, I helped organize Kids runs for about 15 years, usually one on May 24, July, August, September long weekends, even the odd Thanksgiving Weekend Trip, l always took my fishing rods & usually caught some nice fish, had a few runs with 25 to 35 people & camped at McBeath, the Bluffs & some fields had a few runs with Scout trips from Walkerton to Southampton, but there was the odd trip if you couldn't read the water some of the people walked quite a ways, I was usually the last canoe so I could help anybody that needed it, if you have any questions I'll try to help SBK
