You may be able to buy a used compressor for far less than 1000 at an auto wreckers but it may be no better than the one you have.

A friend of mine used a nylon bag, usually used to hold a bunch of basketballs, as a live net and never seemed to have any problems with it. I'm sure with your ingenuity that you could set it up to work with your toon.

I started about the same time , but in the PM with the same results.

Congratulations ! It is nice to hear that your hard work was rewarded.

I've also had a CO give me a break for not having my licence with me. He called it in and found that I had a licence and told me to enjoy the rest of the day. I don't know how many times they would allow this to happen, but I haven't been asked again. My licence is always with me just in case.

You can arrange fishing trips from the chaps hanging around every pool at the resort if you wish and they will take you out. I didn't bother when I was there, but it is an option. PS remember the sign on the toilet means you can't put toilet paper in the toilet. It must be collected in the waste paper container provided.
