  1. Remember, every time you sign a petition to ban something, be it smoking laws, light bulbs, pit bulls, spear fishing or any other petition, eventually someone will be banning your activities. So many are so willing to take the fight for what they believe in, even if that means stomping on other people's rights. We've made criminals out of almost everyone.
  2. I play along sometimes with my son, I'm always on easy though, My son usually plays expert on guitar and hard on drums. We just got the Boston songs last week, pretty awesome to play to the old tunes of my days. Great game for the whole family. He's actually setting it up as I type. We have it for the PS3.
  3. "If it's a sunny afternoon, some of the nicest scenery in the nation can be found on Rue Ste. Catherine." Doesn't really matter what day or what time, the streets are busy even at 3:00am. Ste. Catherine will take care of a few hours to just cruise down, a good variety of all walks of life.
  4. Take a ride up top to Mount Royal, Great view. Check out St. Joseph's Oratory, it's an amazing structure even if your not religious. Go for a Smoked Meat Sandwich at one of the many restaurants, and a Lafleur's Fry is also a treat. Lot's to do there, those are some of my favorites from Montreal.
  5. Some days, life sucks. Take it as a day that life sucked and move on. Stressing yourself out more over something trivial just ain't worth it. We, as a society, really need to realize that "crap Happens" and then move on to better days. My .0213 cents, gotta add the tax.
  6. Here's an article from today in the Washington Post. Centers Tap Into Personal Databases
  7. " We have ruined this planet with pollution & extinctions, etc. We owe it to future generations to change now & fix it right. " You need to go fishing and see the beauty around, nothing is ruined, there's way more beauty and evidence of live thriving around us. It may be messy in your back yard, and a good cleanup would help your yard, but the earth as a whole, has more species of animals, plants, insects and humans alive ever. It's not a result of a world is in dire straits.
  8. " What cost was there ? " For those who think there's no harm in buying into this scam, here's a great little article of the cost. It's from TIME and will shed a little light to some of what your really doing. The Clean Energy Scam
  9. Prefer my own recipe, but for the last year, I have been drooling over Kraft's TarTar sauce. Guess I've eaten so much fish and tried so many batters for so long that the only thing I never ate with fish was TarTar sauce.
  10. Great shots Brandon, birds in flight is something I always wanted to capture. Those are awesome.
  11. Great painting, love paintings with wildlife in them. Very talented.
  12. hooked, lined and sinker, reel him in boys. Just keeping it fishing related. LOL
  13. Make sure it's 1080P (1080i is Good also but lower than 1080P)no matter what TV you get, otherwise you won't be getting true high def. A lot of what you see on sale these days are not 1080P. Some high def TV's don't look so great on regular TV only because high def show how bad regular TV resolution really is.
  14. While your sitting in the dark, google "carbon tax". No conspiracy about it. The only thing that hasn't been taxed was the air we breath, soon to change.
  15. Got 5 comps, a PS3, a 650 watt stereo and my lights going, no earth hour here. For those who want to save and help, grab a garbage bag and go to the nearest deadend street or trail, fill the bag with the litter you'll find and that'll go a lot longer way to helping our environment.
  16. It's just a consensus to find out who'll buy into the carbon tax. Al Gore should hold his breath for the hour, then maybe I'd have an inclination to at least watch.
  17. The bass Pro catalog online are pretty neat, but if it's like the online MNR fishing regulations, it will suck.
  18. Was a member for over 5 years about 8 years ago, didn't like the way they went about things, sending you things and then asking for more donations. They were another "hand in my pocket".
  19. Great shot's Brandon. Planning to drive to BC this summer, taking pictures along the way. Keep them coming, keeps me looking forward to the trip.
  20. Now that's making lemonade when life throws you lemons. Make the most out of life with what god gave you, don't waste time, life's to short.
  21. Thoughts and prayers go out to you guys, keep strong.
  22. Awesome shot, cool formations, mother nature at her finest.
  23. Great shot, looks like untouched land.
  24. Great shots Brandon, it's -18 here and we're expecting snow again, man I can't wait to see green again.
  25. It also upscales your old dvds to play on HDTV. BluRay is what I initially bought it for but it's an awesome all around entertainment center. Already wireless so no wires to hook up for internet. There browser could use some work though. Some days I'm on OFC with the PS3. Picked up a PSP, it's another great little gadget.
