  1. Done. Thanks to LNSA for careing.
  2. We had a closed vertical system installed a few years ago and couldnt be happier . The energy savings are phenominal, the system runs perfectly, free hot water in the winter time and very cheap ac in the summer. The largest upfront cost is in the installation of the loop . I say go for it. We have no regrets.
  3. When you remove all the fasteners holding down the the console you should be able to raise the console up and it should give you plenty of room to replace the floor section without disconnecting anything.

    Fed Up

I'm getting tired of being asked for a donation to some cause or charity at checkout and outside of certain retail stores. They also have the nerve to tell you how much they want you to give. It has gotten so bad that I am beginning to avoid those establishments. Rant over and out!

    Musky Men

Thanks to all for your input. I have decided on a st croix premier 8ft rd with a dawai sealine line counter reel, 100# power pro line . Now what are my options for leaders . This is getting pricey.
  8. I want to get into some serious musky trolling this season. I already have a abu 6500 and compre 7 foot rod for casting. I am looking at the st croix premier 8 foot rod for trolling . I have been researching line type and it seems that the all around favourite is big game mono in the 50# range with a leader. Please chime in and let me know if I am on the right track. Most of my fishing is done on the French River.
  9. I just got back from Cabelas and was looking to buy a reel. I questioned the gentleman at the fishing counter about the availability and he could not be bothered with me. He had no idea of the model and as sumed it was a new product ( abu garcia c3 6500 ). When I got home and checked , this reel is available as a free ship to store item. Too bad for cabelas on this sale but I did buy some sweet rib rub and the girl at the cash was great. Rant over and out...
  10. This season I want to catch walleye in the weeds by ripping bucktails and get better at flipping for bass.
  11. A real nice piece of Canadian Restoration.
  12. I never really cared for that song so I couldnt care less.
  13. Maybe I will just buy a golf umbrella for those sunny days. I thought that they would be a pain.
  14. I am considering a bimini top for my boat. What are the pros and cons . Does it get in the way while fishing? Are they easy to remove and and install? Are they worth it to keep you out of the sun and rain or are they more of a pain ?
  15. Try plain old butter. It does take pine sap off your hands.
  16. This is an old topic but I would like to know where I can buy some big jims bucktail jigs. This looks like an interesting technigue I would like to try
  17. Too cool, fantastic
  18. My dog is on a Barf diet. Is it legal to feed her the fish ( perch )caught by angling and all within the catch and possesion limits . Also she is quite fond of walleye heads. Is it legal to have in my posession more walleye heads only as long as I maintain my legal posession limit of fish.

  20. Look like french ticklers to me
  21. When I upgrade my boat electronics I modify my old unit for ice fishing. Right now I am using a Lowrance X510C on the ice
  22. Is anybody using their outboard engine to charge their 12V trolling motor battery. I have read that it is possible to do this by hooking up the cranking battery in parallel with the deep cycle battery with an isolator between the two batteries

    Boat Show

I thought the prices were pretty fair but very competive.
