Can the unusual weed growth be caused by the july weather in june or is it global warming ? However nice catch Lew as always.

The carpeting on my boat floor is beginning to show its wear. When the time came I was thinking of replacing it with marine vinyl flooring but I am now looking at the possibilityof having it sprayed with linex . Any body have any experience with this product?

I am considering replacing the treble hooks on some of my musky baits to the red coloured type . Would this be worth my while or should I stick to the bronze type?. Iam not pleased with the saltwater hooks that came with the baits.

Boil 1 cup of dry white wine and add 1 tbls of honey. Works for me .

Stick to your budget , keep looking, keep researching and one day you will see your boat and know its for you. Thats how I got mine, and 5years later I have no regrets.

I use the braids and flouro leaders for the toothy critters myself. and think that braided lines definately have found their place but whats with the 30lb and 50lb braids being used for bass, like the fishing shows are promoting.

With the popularity of the super braid lines, i was wondering if anyone out there is still using light monofilament lines. I personally use an 8lb line for bass and walleye with a carefully controlled drag . A few years ago i had an incidental catch ( 52 lb sturgeon )while walleye fishing and managed to land it with 8lb line . It took me about 45 minutes but was it ever thrilling.

I was osprey at the previous board . My favorite species is walleye and spend most of my fishing time at the French River( Wolsley Bay area). My day trips are mostly spent on Lake Simcoe fishing pike , perch and of course them huge smallies. My favourite fishing partner is my 19 year old son and believe it or not he has taught me a few things. I never posted a great deal but always checked in to see what was going on and have always enjoyed the old site. This site is looking pretty awesome and Kudos to all involved.
