True enough... Ha ha

Dimestore is a terrible show, and Canadian Sportfishing feels like its directed at 5 year olds.

Thats because the roofers make good cash stripping off the old shingles. It is not required.

I have seen much worse shows than Fishful Thinking, and I have seen plenty of shows where Charlie is casting.

Ok, Ill bite. 1. Alcohol. Happens to be a major issue with a lot of Natives. ( more so per capita then the rest of the country.) doesthat mean every native is a drunk, and that other Canadians dont have these issues? Of course not. 2. Get over it. Wab claims that he is over it, and thats great. Far too many others arent over it, and thats the number one reason they are holding out ther hands. Ive never heard someone say "forget about it" two completely different statements 3. Long hair. Really? Wasnt aware that was an issue with anyone. 4.what are they doing with the 7 billion? He mentions New Brunswick. Im not sure what the 8 billion is hes refering to, but most there work for their money, and pay taxes for what they recieve. 5. Is a status native required to pay taxes? I have a lot of respect for those that do, instead of mooching from others. But there are a few hundred thousand moching that give the others a bad name.- 25 replies

Crazy stuff you see on your daily commute NF

They are actually a hell of a lot safer than a lot of vehicles on the road. Look up smart car crash test. Pretty impressive actually. I wouldnt be caught in one, but they are practical. -
Its not the difference in weight you have to be most concerned about. Its the extra torque on your transom from more horsepower. I wouldnt think 5 hp would make much of a difference, but if you are concernred about it, it doesnt take much to reinforce the transom.

Would you call 911 - Sort of fishing
Rich Nelson replied to Reelaction's topic in General Discussion
My guess is that they are making an example out of him. Several guys saying they would think twice about calling 911 now ( which I dont believe for a second) Maybe it will make people think twice about makin stupid decisions like going out on unsafe ice. Then again, you cant fix stupid.... -

There are high heat paint that might stay on, but I dont think putting them inside to cook with your food is a great idea. I would just replace it.

Smoking in bed is not stupidity, anymore then ice fishing is stupidity. If the ones doing the smoking are negligent morons, then different story. Same as if the ones ice fishing in bad conditions are negligent morons... -

How is it negligent to go on UNSAFE ice is the proper question. And because they are paid to train and rescue, there shouldnt be a fine for putting them in danger? Your third comment is apples and oranges. If you had said that some guys decided to climb down the niagara gorge, away from public paths, and got stuck and needed rescue... Then yes, they would deserve a fine as well. They didnt do anything illegal, but stupidity put others at risk. Pretty clear to me -

Are you serious? Lol. The charges are not for physically dialing 911, but for unecessarily endangering the lives of others. Im actually a little embarrassed I had to post that. And the answer to the original question is the exact same from every person on this board. Of course you would call 911 if you felt your life was in danger... Regardless of fines that may follow. -

Rumour has it that there are 5 guys stuck on Simcoe at the moment. If they do get rescued, I hope they get a fine as well... 100% their own fault. Some people will never learn -

No, they are saying if you unecessarily put the lives of others on the line, then you should have to pay for it. I agree 100% How many deaths have there been this year alone because guys are being irresponsible? -
Nobody knows what the kid did to begin with. ( his friend breaking a christmas ornament is Bull) The initial takedown may not have been necessary, but its obvious from the video that two of the security guys were struggling to get his hands behind his back. It looks harsh, but nobody knows the real story..

[quote name="bushart" post="761666" timestamp But this last answer is to say one last time-------think outside the box---or is trolling and being argumentative your kick for the day (Like the couple guys saying all stolen cars in the Golden Horshoe end up in 6 nations----well newsflash---I knew some folks from Hamilton who bragged of insurance jobs back in the 70's---take a car to the RES--set it on fire--guess who gets the blame??---called insurance job) Cause for EVERY dumb thing a Native has done----there's an equal one for every race---so posting a so and so said this or did this is narrow minded Im the one that mentioned the stolen trucks... Maybe you should go back and read the post again. I never said that all the stolen trucks in the GTA end up on the rez. I said hundreds a year do. Do you know that to be a false statement? Its a fact, deal with it. A few years back, my Chev Silverado was stolen in Hamilton. My first guess/ comment was " its probably on the rez as we speak" ( I know, very racist of me right?). 4 months later, I get a call from OPP that they had my truck. I was completely shocked when they told me that six nations police had found it . I went to the tow yard where it was located ( on the rez), the yard had 100 plus Chevy/ GM trucks and SUVs that were either torched, or completely stripped of parts. Weird coincidence eh? My truck was sittin in the gravel on the frame with everything stripped off it. Now Im not dilusional. Im aware that not every stolen vehicle in the GTA is because of a native. But FACT is that a large number of them are. " only takes a few bad apples to ruin a batch" The Idle No More movement is suppossed to be representing all Natives across the nation. Of course not every single one of them agrees with it. BTW, its not 1970 anymore.... -
I have no Clue where you are getting the idea that this issue has anything to do with black and white..
