  1. It's not about the Leafs doing well, they're upset they don't have anything to jeer and make fun of. Take that away and they have nothing to add, speechless. That's why Matt's MIA. But they'll be back because every team going through painful slumps and the Leafs will again. At least Matt steps up and says he's a Sens fan... Bow Slayer, what's with the secretive favorite team? Did I miss it?
  2. I don't know about the rest of the Leaf fans but for the sake of that young boy that lost his leg to cancer, I was glad to see his hero Ovechkin get the hattrick. What a thrill for that little guy.
  3. The Ultrex's are 60" shafts...Arrrrrg!!!
  4. McDavid is just one of their first overall picks.
  5. Ultrex's 50% off?? whoa! I guess none of these deals are showing up online.
  6. I can't believe there isn't a firing squad being assembled in Edmonton.
  7. Well, personally I think they disallowed the goal based on that fact they probably should have called a penalty. But, before you go off about why people are complaining, check your facts. Arizona got their first regulation win last week again Montreal. But hey, just another closet hater that types crap with every loss and disappears when they win. Yeah, we get it. https://www.nhl.com/gamecenter/ari-vs-mtl/2017/11/16/2017020280#game=2017020280,game_state=final
  8. Beautiful fish and you're right...it's all about the experience, the fish are a bonus. (At least that's what I keep telling myself lol) Thanks for posting, great pic.
  9. FIFA LOL joking Good on you for persevering through that!
  10. Ever clicked on the "Online Users" tab above? LOL At the time of this post there are 70 people online...55 "Guests"!!! and well, the rest of the crew. There's some "watch what you say" incentive. haha
  11. LOL Yup! You have to be careful with a boat in there now. With the new technology in reels and longer rods, guys can almost cast halfway across the river and there's guys on both sides! I'll head down there in December/January...less fish but way less guys. A good snow storm or cold snap seems to thin the herd.
  12. 3 browns by 8am is awesome. Good job but... the rules are, no pics no fish! lol
  13. http://buffalonews.com/2017/11/17/environment-officials-plot-against-pesky-cormorants/ As a guy that fishes the Niagara and both sides of Erie, less birds would be great.
  14. I was thinking of doing the same kind of setup on my boat...do they make counter-rotation 25hp's?? lol
  15. That was interesting to see...the chartreuse and pink kind of maintained they colour and the rest went neutral. Even stranger was the concrete blocks lined up in a row like a foundation at 97'!!
  16. 3 years??? Yikes! What did you do? Cheer for the Sens? lol
  17. I'm a bit surprised that in today's internet age somebody would launch a bricks and mortar store in the outdoors market particularly. It's a tough go for sure. I wonder who owns it.
  18. Wow are those beautiful fish. Thank you so much for sharing your pictures.
  19. Hmmm, I watched the flight video and heard/read all the commentary too...let's just say my opinion doesn't align with public opinion. A terrible loss...RIP Doc
  20. You would certainly want to have something in the lease agreement that gives you first right of refusal to renew and at a maximum increase %. Without that, the owner has a property with a bunch of cabins in 20 years. Other options such as subletting would also be of interest...ie could you lease it out for a number of years if you got busy or sick and couldn't use it? It's not bad for someone that wants the property without the cash. The lease cost and cabin amortized over 20 years is probably a lot cheaper than coughing up the cash now. Obviously you forfeit ownership benefits.
  21. I thought it was a good win. They showed character battling to tie it up with the net empty and again in OT. Good on them.
  22. IO, I had the same kind of neighbour once! She was a retired stock broker and would ask for ANYTHING if it suited her. My wife and I drove her to her doctor's appointments, babysat and shampooed her dog, planted shrubs, geesh the list goes on and on. And all without as much as a nickel in return. She even bought the house next to her because "she wanted to control who her neighbours would be".The icing on the cake came when she emailed my wife explaining her nephew was going to private school, she was going to have a yard sale to raise money for him, and could we bring over stuff for her to sell??? We were a young family, two kids(under 6), one with cronic care needs and only one income. My wife blasted her back and told her she should be ashamed of herself, knowing all well our predicament and asking for goods as well as physical help. No response, no apology, no thank you for what you've done, zilch. The free ride was over I guess. Tell her nicely to bugger off. People like her know that they're being rude, selfish and taking advantage of you but just don't care.
  23. ^^^ I'll have what he's drinking!! LOL I'm going to save that quote...it''ll be handy this spring.
  24. My shutoff valves are between the pumps and the transom. On my boat, the outlets are slightly below the valves so they drain easily every time. When I add the antifreeze and circulate, I'm filling the pumps and the Flowrite valves and that's my only concern. Keep in mind, I have a bassboat so if the outlet is higher such as it may be on a deep-v, there may be water between the valves and the outlet to contend with.
