I have a brilliant marketing idea!! Sears Canada is going out of business...I suggest Ottawa buy up all those mannequins, slap a hat and jersey on them and voila! the arena is "sold out"!!!! The players can use the tarps to hide under and we can try to spot the dummies...from the mannequins!!!

Yeah but you get the same amount of goals if you miss the net by 10 feet....and they shot wide a lot last night too. Interesting stat that bodes well for the overall strength of the Leafs, they are 5-0-0 when Matthews sits out! Geesh.

I'm not sure if the Leafs played poorly or played to defend the lead. When they're up a goal, they go into a defensive stance and seem to play like they're shorthanded, When they're down a goal, they fly...and usually go get a goal or two at will. It's a strange look this year but the leader board suggests we just enjoy the ride.

Seriously, I'm wondering if the Ottawa coach will last much longer. They are absolutely BRUTAL. - Karlsson is a -16 with 1 goal total - Bobby Ryan has scored 1 goal this year - the team is a -21 and has won 1 game in the last 11 - of 22 skaters on the roster, only 8 are a positive +/- - Coach Boucher commented Phanuef is grooming Chabot (oh boy, that one got me!! LOL) - Duchene has 2 goals in 14 games and is a -11 And to top it all off.... Kyle Turris has 13 points (3 goals and 10 assists) in 14 games!! OUCH!!! Nashville is happy happy.

I need to do exactly what you've done Lew. I have a wood burning fireplace in the livingroom which basically means I get to carry wood through the house with little heat in return. In the basement, I don't have anything and could sure use something there too. I can only imagine the cost of two units installed.

Thanks for all the great feedback guys! So I went to TSC today and tried on a pair of Titans. I normally wear a size 10 and when I tried them on, they were tight. Not short on length, just squeeze my foot tight. The liners are super thick and maybe they'll flatten down a bit?? Plus I just had on a pair of white sport socks....the worse cold weather sock there is. For the Titan guys, did you have to buy a larger pair to compensate for the thick liners? Do they loosen up after a few miles? Thanks!

LOL Unlike Matt, I feel it's getting hard to kick that (near) dead horse. Ottawa has fallen over the proverbial cliff and I'm a little surprised by it. Ottawa now has the same point total Toronto had in the middle of November. They've played less games but 3 weeks behind is brutal. What the ticket sales been like I wonder? Yes...electronics do not like voltage drops and fluctuations. On my boat I run one battery for the outboard starter, electronics and pumps, and 3 batteries for the troller.

Your electronics and pumps should be running off a different battery(s) than your trolling motor.

Tkachuk was suspended one game for the spear on Martin. If it weren't for the fact he was classified as a repeat offender, it probably would have been a fine. They just need to keep increasing the length of his suspensions until they knock the stupid out of him or knock him out of the league.

I remember them selling for a couple hundred bucks 30 years ago!

Just looking for advice from those in the know. I'm wanting to buy a new pair of insulated rubber boots for all round use...fishing(ice and river), hunting, working outside, whatever. Any particular brand suggestions? LaCrosse? Redhead? Thanks
