Great morning to be on the water. Light breeze and a few fish.

  5. There's a saying that if a friend borrows $50 from you, and you never see him again then it was probably worth it. I like that ,never heard that one lol.
  6. Great report as said, you two seemed like you had a blast,Thanks for sharing. .
  7. One thing I have noticed as getting older is I'm not afraid to ask a question. If he is a great friend?,ask or tell him what you think happened. I would in a second. If he gets bent out of shape, you know he may be guilty.I just can't wonder about this kind of thing. If he admits to taking it,It's all over as far as I'm concerned .Personally,no time for that behavior ,again if guilty. What may be next?????????Good luck Don,in whatever route you choose. Dave.
  8. Nice!!,you do need a troliing motor and away you go,lol.I'm sure that will come in time !!
  9. Brian we all hope are kids will do well, but your son sure stepped up to the plate!!!You did a heck of a good job raising him sir!.Good to hear everyone was alright somewhat.
  10. Good luck Adam, you may need it! .
  11. That would work as well Lew. I find o-rings are a dime a dozen .
  12. Remenber you are pulling these through the water at a descent speed. Not sure direct tieing or snap swivel would make much difference?
  13. Never had that problem, caught and still catching many on a white terminator. As far as I'm concerned the snap let's it do what it's suppose to do.No binding.
  14. I carry a bunch of really cheap o-rings I use around the nose or clip on area. I always use a clasp, and the oring keeps it from sliding down. One of the best inventions ever lol.
  15. Call me crazy,I have my adjustments all backed off. Great casts, but have to remember your thumb at the same time as your drop. Baitcasters are the ticket IMO.
  16. Looking good TJ. Good help is hard to find.Nice to see you circle yourself around a lot of good (great) people I should say.!!!No doubt it will be ready way before winter.
  17. I need to browse soon,no hurry,as bps is on my way home and I seem to really like it. Will give Cabelas a shot though.
  18. Please try again, you now have my interest lol.
  19. Enjoy every minute ,they grow so fast.,I'm sure the two of you will have a great time, and you can bet at that age,he will remember it forever. Looking forward to the report.
  20. Wagoneer, seems like you know what your doing!!Good luck with your Musky fishing. Pretty descent setup.
  21. Maybe not prime, but you have to put your time in like I have for far to long!
  22. Take it slow as mentioned, prime waters for both Bass and Pike!
  23. I'm thinking it's not broken or you still would not be able to walk on it without a cast.Mine was a bad sprain, looked broken, blue and swollen terrible ,doc said little ice and you would be a lot better in a couple days. When I broke my foot ,that was pain for the best part of two weeks.Hoping a bad sprain is all you have.
  24. I have the abu ambassadeur BCX 6600.It has a clicker, just below a $100. Casts very well also! Mine is right, but it does come left as well.
  25. I remember when leeches and worms were about the same price. We prefered leeches as they stayed on the hook longer and caught more fish.lol.
