  1. I was dragged a little bit under the bus last week when I fished a southern trib, and couldn't catch a cold if my life depended on it.Everything I said was hearsay, and did not give a location at all. I bit my tongue and let it go. I guess I should of said I fished somewhere and had fun.I even think the mods pulled it for a bit and then put it back,as a few pm's reported. I guess I get a bit excited when I have a good time.lol.Imagine when I catch something!
  2. Lately things are getting a little heated over fishing areas,so here's a couple questions; First-Should we talk about lakes fished and how much many we caught, lakes are huge in general Second-Should we talk about rivers fished and how many we caught,Most rivers are miles long. The reason I ask as reporting about good fishing and great days, without pin pointing and giving exact locations ,is it really bad for our lakes and rivers?. Maybe best not to give lake or river names with little or no background, and let everyone fend for there selves?. I think it may be interesting to hear others views?,what do you think?.
  3. That's even a better idea!
  4. Good getting out, tomorrow might be one of those days for me.
  5. I like the two per person limit with a slot size added.Maybe there would be a few fish for everyone.Who needs six in one day?.It's nice but as you said most get freezer burn and thrown out anyways.JMO.Heck,let me catch one and I'll be very happy.lol.
  6. The advice given is probably your best bet,my gruman canoe took a hit from a tree and I bought this aluminum compound I'll call it,can't remember the name, but rolled in your hand ,almost a putty, stuffed it into the cracks and leaking areas, not one leak. That was three years ago and you can sand it down. It was a tube and bought it at a local hardware Robinsons, and they swear by it. Never leaked a drop.Great stuff. If your interested pm me and I'll drop by tomorrow and give you the name.Great stuff, easy to apply.
  7. I couldn't see a date either.
  8. Exactly, and when was he fishing?,before or after March 1st?
  9. Who cares if he was 5-10 feet either side of the so called sign.People are so quick to judge on this forum!. If you are members of other forums as I know some of you are ,people are sick of this forum and I quote"A lot of high post members who know everything and are far to Quick to judge new comers" That is only one thread talked about.Lighten up!!!!!!!!!. I don't care as I can look after myself, but a lot of this crap has to stop. That part about soft water season, fun time!!!!!!,Don't be so quick to judge every one all the time. I personally have gained a lot of knowledge from this site and will continue to do so as long as they let me. Dave.
  10. I love a good debate as well as the next guy,but it seems lately the fun,fun stuff is getting less and less without debate of some kind.Lighten up guys soft water season is coming fast!
  11. I AGREE !
  12. Thanks chessy, that could only be taken as great news!!!
  13. Good show, when was the last time trolling mid march?
  14. Sorry for your loss,we have cats as well, but they don't go outside. Thinking of all the mouse and rat feed that makes them eat and want water which in the end kills them. Most sources of water are outside the house and if they were to find one suffering and/or eat it,what are the options?. Very sick or die. Luckily in my area there are a couple veteran cats I'll say keeping the mice population down and have also dogged a bullet for now. It's sad that cats have to watch what seems normal in there lives.
  15. Looks as good as any,I suppose?. Price is right.
  16. Nice getaway Brian, hard to tell but the water looked fairly clear.Good for you for holding back lol, if I was there not so sure:thumbsup_anim:What's that saying, kill two birds with one stone!
  17. Good going Steve, the cats are that plentiful?
  18. Not for now, that's the reason for the bigger motor.Who knows where you may go next year for example?
  19. Good news never get's old. Thanks for the update.
  20. Apparently the newer motors are far easier to pull then the old ones. And for 5 extra horses it can't be two much harder than a 20hp.Remember down the road the electric will get more money than the pull if you plan to sell.
  21. I don't know the boats, but from what I've heard is if possible always go to max HP. You'll never no when you have to get to shore in a hurry or if you add more people with added weight at least you can get on plane.
  22. I have the same, about 5 years old, runs like the day I bought it.Maybe weeds as said or spinning because something broken.Under load is when the trouble would show up likely.
  23. Hey Josh, welcome aboard?
  24. I would think liability at least,would be a minimum of $1,000,000.00.
  25. Last night Terry I was watching the weather network and the women was saying you have to get your huts off tomorrow.Went on to say if it was a colder winter they would of been able to stay out longer.Had a chuckle.
