Love flyfishing in rivers/creeks but also enjoy the mobility of a boat and i will seldom refuse a chance to fish off shore either...

If i was in your position ... which I often am I would go ahead and buy some good quality fluoro leaders... either lighter musky ones or homemade ones... of course match line weight to fish size in lakes... I seldom have problems with pike breakoffs, its usually the lure that gets the beating and less often the leader... hope this helps some Regards

Even has sattelite eh... sure didnt leave a thing that most people have at their house out... except maybe an INDOOR freezer

I have no problem going out and not catching a thing because most of the time just being out in the boat, on the riverbank or wading in the river is the most relaxing and worthwhile thing I could possibly think of... Its always a bonus though if you catch fish but doesn't bug me too much If i dont... on the otherhand if it is my fault (not setting the hook etc.) then I will get frusterated at myself...

I usually keep a couple in a season... Never limit out and very seldom if ever keep naturally reproducing trout... I Hunt and fish and because I know I eat all edible and usable parts I feel no remorse or sorrow... Its called the food chain and its alot healthier than any of the food you can buy now anyway... I will try anything but Particularily Like fishing for browns and bows with the fly rod... no roaring engines or anyone to bug me.... just the sound of a river is what I wanna hear... I like fishing for Walleye, Bass, Pike too... Anything else is just a bonus...

I always bring my fishing rod otherwise I never catch anything... Just me though wont go fishing without it...

Ok everyone... I was wondering if you could help me with something... I was wondering what the best and easiest way to cure roe is... I will be using them for roe bags and dont know how to cure them and have seen only a few on the net... Thanks for any help..., Bill
