  1. You have to get the proper oils to add in afterwards... i know several places in canada that sell em and you can get some from Cabelas too... If you want some websites tell me and I will post em for you...

  3. might be what is called a "fleck" if I am not mistaken... I have seen black and white ones in bass and perch but havent heard of the red ones... the black and white flecks are not harmful to eat, the only thing they do is make the fish look somewhat unpleasant in the flesh... Should be ok though as long as it is cooked... but if it is only 2 of 50 i would have tossed em....
  4. I have brought my one piece rod on the plane in a tube... I dont think it could be a carryon bot you could probably chech it as a piece of your luggage

  8. Still snowing pretty hard here in burlington... 10 cms on the ground and it looks like there is an accident on hwy 5 cause traffic is backed up all the way to brant... Just a heads up if you are in the area...
  9. Burlington has been getting snow for about 45 mins or so... roads are covered pretty good, hopefully no one needs to do any driving out there but if you do be careful... No ice pellets yet but we are expecting it. What are you all getting now? anyone have ice coming down yet?

  13. Alright well I figure I might as well post this question here for you all... I think I may have a free week at the end of August and I would like to use my time fishing of course. So my question to you is if you had 7 days to fish and wanted to use a canoe as your transportation where would you go. any species of fish but any place where trout (brook, rainbows) are in rivers is the best for me... I realize they can be tough in the summer but it is the opportunity I have. I am looking for some sort of chain of lakes (portages add to the fun) in which you all have had some luck. It would be a bonus if there were some rivers too in which I could do some flyfishing too... I have a few places in mind but want to throw out the question and see where you would go if you were in my spot. Thanks, Bill

  19. Je Ne parle pas bon Francais... but I do know a couple of bilingual guys who could act as translators... Oh and as well... I also was wondering how the licencing works... I am an Ontario Resident and a Minor so do I still need a non-res licence and do I need one for particular species? as well I looked at their maps and boy are they confusing... Any more help is Greatly appreciated
