Well then... As I ***WILL be in Bagotville QC this summer I might as well ask... Is there anywhere nearby (particularily BFC/CFB Bagotville) to fish for... Well... Fish I was wondering what is in the area and some tactics. I will be there for approx 7 weeks if i go and will have limited available transportation but was wondering where if anywhere there is any half decent fishing. Thanks for any replies or PM's... Bill

Well... Binbrook does have some fish and somedays the fishing is good others it is not... If you are going to fish there somewhere near the dam is good but makesure to be careful of thin Ice (clearly marked by signs... It is from 10-15 ft there and you should be able to catch some fish there(mostly perch) with little jigs tipped with minnows or with maggots/waxworms etc... I dont remember if they sell bait there but call em and they can tell ya... Hope that helps...

Ok.. I will be the first to disagree...although I am defending myself and not giving "nasty replies"... Firstly I seldom see teenagers out on the Ice or fishing for that matter..., But I have many times seen adults of all ages drink their beer or eat their chocolate bars or whatever the case may be and either toss bottles in the hole or cover with snow or just plain leave it out there... I have really never heard of or seen any teenagers going on the Ice fishing, and those who do often care enough to bring their junk back. I also beleive that very few if any teenagers would go on Ice, where it is cold and they couldn't run from anybody in the middle of the night when they could simply, do waht most do and go into parks or some ones house... Dont get me wrong though those are also the teenagers who often litter, without care for the environment because at that point they may think they have no use for it. Sorry for that rant of sorts but had to get that out because I have seen so many people in the past do that and ALL of them have been adults who clearly know that this is not only an illegal and unlawful but also immoral act. I am done and glad I got that out....

Well I have a suggestion but not the pic your looking for. A large piece of cork board works well to heep all sorts of lures stored...

Hmmm... Either there were fisherman or there was some sort of fight and you wouldn't wanna be around... Only problem with that is those fishes move so fast... could be there one day, and gone the next

I would go with a couple of guys that I look up to... One of them being my grandfather, who introduced me to hunting and fishing. Fortunately I do have a chance or two during the year to see him and get out but I would like to have the chance for a longer outing, amybe for some of our canadian stuff (as he lives in the states) Next, Id go with Sam... Hes a great guy who has given me so much opportunity, and also lots of experince... too bad its not easier to take a year off just to fish the world eh... thats ok maybe that time will eventually come
