  1. I will be watching it... Sounds Great TJ
  2. Sugarpacket... If the lifetime licenses were available, as in the states, you still have the option of buying the one year or period license...
  3. Great looking site Sam... The home page has some great looking shots that cycle through... Great links and info, looks really up-to-date, and professional. WTG
  4. Beauty pics and a nice healthy looking buck... too bad deer dont have computers, you could make some dirty money from those shots
  5. The problem isn't in the amount of money going in, it lies with the problems in ministry and Gov't... Many states have lifetime licences and you can purchase them for less if you are buying it for your 2 year old or 16 year old, than if you wait till your 18... I think it is a much better way to get young people to fish...it truly makes a gift that would last a lifetime and would never wear out in use and on top of that it still gives the ministry some money in lump sums. If you look at the states they have less resources and WAY more management and to be honest in many areas they do a great job of it... In several states they have HUGE stocking programs where they stock rivers with trout for angling opportunities... Too bad there isn't enough intrest at the top for some of the most important resources we have. Just goes to prove that politicians, just like S*** float to the top
  6. Use this one its up to date for this year and next... http://www.ene.gov.on.ca/publications/590b13.pdf Theyre pretty good smoked too...

  9. So the only big fish you got this year was the sheepie Mike? just kidding with ya man... Nice review... I might have to put one up soon myself
  10. Betcha woulda got more without the T-shirt Glen Nice catches all the same...
  11. Great to hear aniceguy... I will be looking forward to both what you and the minister has to say about the issue
  12. I agree with ya there Brian... But the problem is the farmers wont lower themselves to the level of a politician... Cant wait for the day that happens, they know how the world and the environment works cause they know hard work and know what they're doing. But what can you expect from some minister in an office signing bills and acts... they dont see it or have to deal with the problems they cause. Basically the worst that happens if they don't listen to those who's opinions count is they loose their votes and sometimes it isn't a big enough deal for them to care about.
  13. I was wondering that too keram lol...Neverfished If you'd like to learn something about our wonderful sport ask, I know most members would be willing to help you out as would I, hell if its possible I'd even take you to fish or hunt somewhere if you can help contribute to the board in any manner, and if you are interested in learning a thing or two. The MNR, though not engaged solely in hunting and fishing management, has an enormous responsibility to outdoor enthusiasts in these sectors as they greatly affect the economy and the resources we have. The MNR, although unable to do as much as they should because of their underfunding, deals with hunting and fishing in most sectors in some way or another. I wouldn't choose someone who doesn't hunt or fish or is unaware of the importance of these activities to the economy, Canadian society as well as a long Canadian hunting, fishing and trapping tradition. 14. Although I don't have one I have fished out of the flip over Frabills... pretty easy to pull on the ice even with snow and ice chunks protruding from underneath. If I was going to buy an Ice hut it would be this one... really quick to set up and it has the sled attached too, so you just toss in your gear and the removable seat and start moving, keeps you portable when you just have to flip down teh shelter to carry it around. hopefully this helps you some, good luck in your search
  15. About time you get out to go fishing again eh Sam... Very nice report and Great eyes
