Oh heck nothing to worry about Wayne. The people I'm referring to only prepare staff lunches.....burp.... Hookset.

We're just starting our season here at work this week (Resort). One guy who works for me is starting to show symptoms - sore throat etc. 4 kitchen staff have what he does or worse, and being kitchen staff...we all probably have it. I think this is gonna be a heck of a month. Hope Y'all feel better soon. Hookset.

Crying??? C'mon Roy, that was a well founded discussion as to whether or not motors being built in China would influence whether or not you purchased one. I thought it was a good topic, no rants, and maturely discussed. Pretty sure any comments that may have offended were simply meant in jest or an attempt at humor. And yes, I read them all again. Go Fishing already, Some of us never stopped. Hookset.

Ordered my new bumper stickers today, lemme know if you want one... "Canada...the "new" China" There is a U.S. version as well. Hookset.

Exactly...bang on. Produce all the cheap goods you want, but when there are no buyers left...what's it worth ? Hookset.

Ya it would sway my decision. Problem is, what does that leave as far as "made in north america" goes ? Would the last manufacturing plant leaving N. America please turn the lights off on their way out ? Hookset.

Hook, Line, and Sinker.... The least she could have done was post a pic . Hookset.

You seem well adjusted Stoty...all should be fine. Sorry we hijacked the thread Snypa. That topic you posted sure could change commercial fishing. Maybe for the better if proven. Very Cool. Hookset.

Hate to break it to you dude but...They were seen on "Fishing with Shelley and Courtney" Hiding in the bushes, Bert asked Ernie to give him a worm. Courtney hasn't been the same since. Hookset.

Was lucky enough to be granted access on that Lake one day, about 5 years ago. There is no public access (I checked with our local C.O.) Fantastic Smallmouth, can't remember if we caught any largemouth or not but the Smallies were amazing. Have a blast. Hookset.

That's amazing. From the markings that appears to be a North Saskatchewan Soft Bellied Alligator. Deadly....simply Deadly. Hookset.

Went Walleye fishing one afternoon, where doesn't really matter. Had a good day and slowly cruised back to the Launch at dusk. This is a nice Launch, with a cement pad that goes out nice and deep without too much slope and there's a dock to use too. There was guy backing his trailer in to load his boat ahead of us. We said hello to the two of them, and took in the scenery while we waited. Dude backs his trailer up and stops before the tires get wet. The bunks of the trailer are a good 3 feet above the water. He brings the boat up till the bow touches the trailer frame and hooks up the winch rope. My friend and I look at each other ??? Then he starts cranking...rope gets tighter, boat doesn't move...rope gets even tighter...starts pinging like you would tune a guitar string. They stop, thank God. They had a huddle for a bit and my friend says nicely, "you can back in a little farther, it's a good launch." Well we shouldn't have said anything I 'spose. They basically got ticked, can't remember exactly what was said, but it ended with... "This is an EAS-Z Loader trailer" (spelling may be wrong) he pointed at the name and yes indeed it did say EAS-Z Loader. Times like this it's best just to sit back and watch, you couldn't pay enough for this type of entertainment. Next move...one guy stands on the back of the trailer pulling up on the bow for all he's worth while guy #2 cranks. We're getting somewhere now, the bow is actually up on the bunks. The motor is jammed into the concrete but hey, they're on the bunks. I should say their boat was a 16 foot aluminum (brand new ) with a small outboard, but it had a deck and a floor so there was some weight to it. Cranker guy has nothing left in him so they switch places. Bigger dude on the cranker now...Tired dude pulling the bow. I don't know what the winch rope was made out of but it must be good stuff. Luckily the grinding motor muffled our escaped laughter. They kept glaring at us during the whole deal, and we would have helped out in a second, but they were rude from the get go and definitely didn't want it. You try and keep a straight face if you were there. Eventually they got enough of the boat on the trailer that it tilted forward and didn't scrape anymore. They switched places cranking a few more times until, viola!!!, she was loaded. Off they went, glaring...and muttering... I never would have thought it was possible but you can load a boat without getting your trailer tires wet. I just wish I had been there when they launched it. Hookset.

Been a Leafs fan since 1967...talk about the World's Worse Skunk !!!! Beat that !!! Other than that, fishing a Bass Tourney on Sparrow Lake and never touched a Bass, even during pre-fishing. My partner caught 3 including big fish of the Tourney and I can't add a damn thing to help out. We probably could have placed top 5 easy if dumbass here had just hooked one...but no...it still bugs me. Hookset.

Here's my little dude, Dino. But I think he's a she too. The second pic is kinda blurry but it took me 10 minutes just to get these two Dang' feathered monkey...

Very cool Nauti. Glad there's people around like yourself who step up to the plate and help these birds. My blue and gold macaw is definitely a handful, he was pretty badly abused when I got him. But after having him now for 7 years I doubt I could ever give him up. He is getting much better socially but he was one screwed up little dude when I got him. It took me over a year just to be able to touch him. People don't realize what it takes to care for birds like these. They sure aren't budgies !!! I would never recommend one as a pet to anyone unless they were totally dedicated and understood fully what it takes to take care of them. Especially when they live as long as they do. I know Macaws can live well over 60 - 70 years. Congrats on the new addition. Ringo is one lucky dude. Hookset.

Sad day indeed. It was one of the world's greatest toilet reading magazines ever printed.

Big Cliff, Launching our own Satellite might just be easier. How hard can it be ? Sorry to hear you're having troubles though. Customer service is brutal most times. Even when it means just returning a phone call or showing up at all. Some folks just don't get it. That said, this is my first reply from home. For some reason it was working when I got in. Watch her blow up when I hit "add reply" lol. Good Luck Cliff Hookset.

Hi Wayne and Thank You. I did try candlelight because that's what we have here at work, but they don't cover my area. I'm just outside of their coverage. The only provider we could find (so far) was Hughes - Galaxy. Talk about an exasperating experience... Hookset.
-
Hey, I look forward to it Stoty, PM or call me and we'll hook up. P.S. - we smoked them last year using tiny power tubes under a slip float about a foot off bottom. Don't tell nobody. Hookset.

Well I gotta say...what a freaking joke !!! Hughes net was installed 8 days ago. 5 minutes after the installer left our system went for a crap. It took us upwards of 3 minutes to open a browser. To open OFC at home takes about 7 minutes just to open the first page. Called Hughes net...after running a diagnostic they say "Oh it's a crosbol problem, you're installer will have to come back out and fix it" Ok says old dumbass (me), thanks for the info... 5 days later the tech. arrives. "You've exceeded your bandwidth and that's the problem". Off he went. My girlfriend was home at the time so I didn't get a chance to speak with him myself. Then I get a call from Hughes net (Galaxy actually which buys from Hughes ??!!??) "Yes there is a problem with exceeded bandwidth and due to that fact, we can't check the crosbol issue. "But the system hasn't worked properly since day 1" I say. "We did try to download a file, very sorry for doing so, but can you confirm if there is still a crosbol problem ?" "Not until some time tomorrow" she says. "But you have already confirmed that there was a crosbol problem" I whimpered. "That's all I can do sir, but if you would like to pay another 20 bucks a month we can bump you up to 375 megs of download every 24 hours instead of the 200 you currently have." It was at about this time that I went for a walk, kicked myself in the cajones, and came back to try and reach the installation Tech. He was to have called me back 2 hours ago... He even gave me his cell #... Thing is I've been overly polite and patient up to this point. But me thinks I'm about ready to snap. The total installation, purchase of hardware etc. was $900.00 and my monthly rate is $69.99 / month. But hey I can pay another 20 bucks per month for more bandwidth...on a system that hasn't worked since day 1. Sorry about the rant, but if you see a big glow in the sky south of Huntsville, it's just my head exploding. Hookset.

damn straight !!! the power of positive thinking. It's definitely a hoot. Usually my first soft water trip of the season. If anyone wants to go just PM me. I usually head out a couple times a week til it's over. Hookset.

Yep, it happens. My brother and I were fishing Pike on Nippissing near Jocko Point (think that was the name). Found 2 fish in the same predicament. Ones head was sticking out the gills of the other Pike. One swam away no problem, the other = fish crisp. I've seen more weird things on that Lake than all others I've fished combined. There's something very special and weird about Nip. Hookset.

- head to your favorite Laker grounds - fish between dusk and dawn - salted minnows on a spreader - right on bottom - chum holes with same salties - don't blame me when everything you have brought with you is covered in slime seriously though, they are fantastic eating. Hookset.

As long as you buy the old man some tackle you're usually good to go. Maybe if you post in the classified section under "trade" ??? Hookset.
