Hey Peter I hope that you are succeeding onward and upward... I have a question that you may be able to help me with and the PM's seem to be down, please can you shoot me a quick e-mail at [email protected] John...
  2. Are the Rainshadow blanks yours Chris or did Mike supply them?
  3. I am liking JP's thoughts on the roller on the bail arm. I used to have similar problems with mono depending on the reel quality and construction. It used to get wedged down in the side of the roller and one cast would do it....... twang! I think that if you are using 4# equivalent PP then the small diameter just might get down in there on some reels....
  4. Personally I love the stuff, but only in the larger diameters. I have had 80# PP on my musky reels now for 3 seasons and except for the colour it performs the same. I tried lighter 15# on my spinning reels and hated it, but it did not break on me.. I am also thinking that you may have a guide problem. The other thought was do you wear a ring that could be fraying it?
  5. Sounds like the day finished off just fine Cliff...........

  12. Thanks Art, maybe we will try to do something in the fall.......some beauties there in the photo section!
  13. You can paint over wallpaper assuming that it is well adhered to the wall, in particular the seams edges and corners. Run a light coat of drywall compound down each seam and smooth it with a damp sponge, don't try to sand it. A good quality primer sealer is required before the finish coats. Bear in mind that any raised pattern on the wallpaper will show through the paint. I would spend the time to do it once properly and remove it, fill any areas that need it and sand smooth. It is worth it in the long term.
  14. I would really like to take you up on that sometime Art, and I'm sure Cliff is already packed! Is there a better time than others down there for those babies? John....
  15. Dang Cliff, you beat me outta bed, AGAIN! Sounds great Jose....... I have PM'd you my e-mail address. J...
  16. You will need valves, regulator and hose. Problem is on most of those private label brands spare parts are slim to none. Suggest you take the valves out and take them to a BBQ parts dealer in your area, (not Cdn Tire), and see what they can come up with but don't have too high expectations. You may need to leave this one on natural gas.
  17. Big Cliff and I have booked a Catfishing charter with Steve (Fishmaster) on the Lower Grand River on Friday April 16th. Looking for 2 additional guys to join us.
