Earliest freeze on record for great lakes. https://ca.news.yahoo.com/earliest-ice-record-appears-great-170122146.html

Actually, vinyl records are making a comeback. They will still be around long after kids have no idea what a CD is. And the 78s could only hold about three and half minutes per side. So if a musician wanted to release a group of songs he would release an album containing several discs. The 12 inch 33 1/3 aka LP (long play) could hold all of the songs that previously required an album on to one disc. These were still referred to as albums even though they fit on a single record; or, a single CD.

Yes, a 2005 GMC Jimmy. They actually had to enter my vehical as a Chevy Blazer because the Jimmy was not on their computer. I assume it would be the same battery. Thanks for the tip about PartSource. There is one close to me.

Is there a site or chart where I find equavalent batteries? Mr. Lube recommended an Interstate MT-75 battery for my truck. I figure that I can purchase and install a battery for a lot less than they are charging. Is there a way to determine which EnerStart of other brand battery that would match the Interstate MT-75 battery?

I think you are jumping to conclusions. A warm car is easier to start because the grease and oils is not as thick; plus a warm battery can deliver more current. A car may start fine with 2/3 or 3/4 charge in the battery in warm weather. However, with a cold start the motor is harder to turn over; and your battery has less power when it is cold. A parasitic draw may not prevent the car from starting on a nice warm day; but it will be more of a problem when combined with the additional challeges of cold weather. The same could apply for any of the other issues mentioned. The cold weather may be the proverbial straw that breaks the camels back. As for starting when boosted; two batteries (one of which may be warmed up) plus an alternator may be enough to overcome the issue that is preventing the starts.

Were you planning to operate out of your home? That would almost certainly be a by-law infraction. By-laws are usually enforced on a complaint basis so you may be fine if nobody complains. But it only takes one person to notify the city that you are running a retail operation out of your home to have the city on your back. Have you actually researched the feasibilty of selling for 35% less than your competitors? You need to know what your purchase price is going to be before you can decide that you are going to sell items for 35% less than the competition.

Are those 78s? I think that is where the term 'album' (for music recordings) orginated. Then when LPs became popular, what used to require an album could be recorded on one disc.

Like I said. Bernier didn't play for them that year. Last year was Bernier's first year with the team. It was Reimer that, aka Optimus Reim, that got them to game 7.
-
I am not sure if those are the best examples. Chicago went 49 years between cups; L.A. took 44 years to win a cup; Boston went 39 years between cups. They may be good now, but they have had their struggles.
-
Do you mean Reimer? Bernier didn't even play for the Leafs that year.

Does it read properly when idling or trolling? Perhaps the gas shifts to the back of the tank when you are on plane and that throws the gauge off.

... providing the fish doesn't spit the hook before you can grab the rod.

Actually, Harris did. He reduced the number of MPPs in Ontario and reduced the number of councilors in Toronto. I am not sure about other cities.

So what purpose did they serve then? If cutting them won't affect firefighting ability then that indicate that they were not helpful in fighting fires. If they were of any help in fighting fires then their absence will affect fire fighting abilities.

What to do if you catch a Canadian or world record fish
John Bacon replied to LostAnotherOne's topic in General Discussion
That depends on your definition of a lot. I don't think you would be able to quite your day job based on the proceeds from a world record muskie. -

The extra publicity for a live released fish is due to all the people arguing over whether the fish was really as big as claimed. To the OP: The fish would also have to be weighed (and witnessed) on a certified scale. I am sure the ministry would be interested in the catch, but they do not maintain world records. -
Did Greg Clark used to write for Outdoor Canada? I seem to remember his stories from there. I think Jimmy Frise was included in most of his stories.

Looking for Recommendation for Toyota Highlander Service
John Bacon replied to FLEX ROD's topic in General Discussion
Another option would be to allow an auto school to do the work. I am sure it would be much cheaper. Personally I wouldn't trust them with a 2010 Toyota; but I would consider it for my 2005 Jimmy. -

I paid about $1,500 to replace the heater core on a GMC Jimmy. They had to remove the dash to replace the heater core. It took them a couple of days to complete. I know it is a different vehicle; but it sounds like a similar job for your Toyota. They price may not be out of line for the work involved. I just wish the designers would take this into consideration before creating a vehicle that requires that entire dash board to be removed in order to replace parts. -
If rumours are true; that is about to change.

You can buy poles that fasten to the side of the trailer. They are designed to guide the boat on to the trailer; but they may also solve your problem of not being able to see the trailer. This is what I am referring to. http://www.basspro.com/Bass-Pro-Shops-Heavy-Duty-Post-Style-Boat-Guide-Ons/product/10208433/?cmCat=

I wonder what kind of enforcement is in place to ensure that the fees collected are used to promote tourism. Companies can be audited for sales taxes, etc.; so there is a reasonable assurance that the taxes you pay are actually remitted to the government. I doubt that there is a similar enforcement for these fees. If a hotel as to collect the fee and not use it to promote tourism, then I would consider that to be fraud.

You run 6 or 8 gauge wire from the battery to the motor. That is available in any length that you want. Any deep cycle battery will work. The bigger the battery, the longer the charge will last. But you will not want to portage a large deep cycle battery.

Technically, it was 10:00am to the fish for the first three weeks. ... Or, would have been fish could tell time.
