  3. i had a 2000 14` with a 30 hp mer 4 stroke it was a great boat belive it was called a troller and it woudl size up to most 16 i would get it again no issues with it . Was moslty used for downrigging on lake huron and g bay strik
  4. I love my truck but when/ if i have a issue i walk I do not like to swim Depends where you fish if you go out to the great lakes i would say a kicker is great to have.. On some inland lakes maby not however for the price of a kicker if you can keep some hrs off the main it might be worth it ... I also have a second small tank of gas with me it is ment for the kicker but i have the different ends so if need be i can be swap it to the main Once we were out the main dies... when we got back in it was determined that the issue was bad gas kincker got us in Raido is good and a must but being able to get in on you own when you want to is priceless Be Safe

  7. I know this was not on your list but i have had good luck with walkers i do not like the rod holder they come with but love the riggers This year i am going to try to mount my big john rod holder on my walker riger On my boat i have two walkers and One big john ( had two big johns but droped down to 3 riggers) Have used the cannon and scotty Traxstech just came out with whats to be the best of the best little rich for my blood (950)....... But lots are intersted Some good deals to be found on used ones Walkers and Scotty are both Canadain products (walker/Ontario Scotty/BC ) Good luck Strik
  8. The walker will not work with any fishfinder But the strik vision might be nice good luck
  9. This spring i added the extra battery glad i did i was out on Lake Huron and cooked the one batt i was able to turn my switch over and crank up the main. My main and my kicker both have the ability to charge the batts. The switch i have says one/two / all and i am able to switch as the engins are running. As i hate to turn off one engin before the other is running. I aslo have started to bring my motomaster eliminator power box 800 if nothing else i can charge up plug in divices(cell phone/ flashlight ......) with this it also another back up. For the extra it cost to run two batt i think it is worth it or at least get some kind of power box. Then you can have the power when you need it. Could be keeped in car to jump batt that are dead or camping or power outages the list goes on. Best of luck Strik
