  1. Yes Darren I enjoyed that too
  2. Well picking up my boat at the dealer had a few bugs on the new boat to iron out like lockable rod storage did not lock. My trolling plate is now history because it cracked one of the fins it was bolted to Happy troller never again. I am going back to using a kicker so I will try it out Sunday at the same time I will bring my boy fishin for some Pike. AH I LOVE FISHIN
  3. Yes Stoty I use a small swivel followed by a 3 to 4 foot leader of the new Berkley gold Vanish.Mostly for spring trout on the surface. I really like the new product compared to the old vanish in the blue box which twisted wildly in very little time. When I use a worm harness (for walleye)I like to use my Rod with 30lb(9lb diameter) Stren Super Braid attached to the worm harness.Like someone said if the water is not clear don't bother. I found the new vanish gold far better than seaguar which in my opinion is week.Breaks easily and is overpriced. I recently tried power pro although I love the way it comes in a user friendly box that makes it very easy to spool your rod. I find Stren Super Braid a better product it is less stiff easier to tie knots and it keeps its colour unlike power pro which loses its colour quite rapidly.Tying knots much easier with stren. Hooked a six pound pike last year deep with the 30lb Stren super braid NO Leader on a Rapala Huskyjerk. The line had frayed against its teeth but not enough to break off .Had that been mono well you know by by fish. Now go catch some fish. MTP

  6. Yup its does make my hair stand up on my back. My Honda Odyssey costs $85 now to fill and I can not go to a smaller vehicle.$1.32.9 With 3 kids I am not downsizing to something smaller.A one hour commute in my Chevy Malibu and the kids are fighting for leg room and who should sit in the middle It tows by boat and my double axle tent trailer which weighs 2614lbs empty. I wanted to buy a Ford F-150 in 2 years and now that will never happen. This will effect the big Three,GM,Ford and Chrysler I guess when the kids get older I will sell the trailer and down size to a small V6 suv to pull my boat. Ladies and Gentleman it won't be long and we will see a slump in sales for outdoor toys. The domino effect is a short time away. Its pretty sad that some people in this world can not afford to buy rice because of rising oil.People are starving because of greed. Hopefully someone will find an alternative source of technology and we will watch the oil companies die. What goes around comes around you greedy buggers Now lets go fishin.
