Well i admit, you wont find it moored at the Redneck Yacht Club, but for an electric, its still pretty impressive.If you looked caredfully, there is only 1 battery in the boat.

It enrages me to read stories like this.They are stealing from each and evreyone of us who fish legally and practice conservation in our fishing practices.It is however good to see that the MNR is taking steps to put a stop to it.They are doing the best they can with the resources at hand.Hats off to them

i used to use a tanaka 2.5 on a 16' flat back canoe and it worked really well.Could run all day on a quart of gas

make sure its insured for replacement value.That way if it DOES get lifted, you can get another boat.And get as much deterants as possible to prove that you took precautions against theft.

Hitch lock,lock for the motor, lock lugs for tires including spare.and when its in my driveway i always make sure 1 of my 2 vehicukes is always parked in front of it.Also, i have nosey neighbors who are ALWAYS peeking through thier curtains to see what i'm up to.I always take the trolling motor off, and my gps is quick connect and i always remove it. Not much else you can do
