8mm beads might outweight the blades and cause them to spin less freely. Make one and try it in the water...in my opinion, you will need bigger blades and thicker line. I've made some cool looking harnesses that totally fail with a water test...it's all about balance.

I've fished with Nipfisher, smarty pants, cheaptackle and flash (not often seen, where are ya bud?? ) . With time this list will be longer. We net them in creeks every spring. Delicious little buggers...great with eggs and bacon. The hardest thing is finding a productive creek and timing it properly
