  1. Jaysus... Have pity on lesser fishermen would ya. Seriously though, great score. Only big stuff for you I see. K, time to pick up my lower jaw and battle back for team 8.
  2. Tasty! I'm yet to break the inland rainbow barrier... good job
  3. awesome guys! Great adventure and GTG! I guess Joey caught the biggest one of the trip?
  4. I was thinking maybe "man who ingests beer may spiel a drink or two" funny
  5. Some of them are obvious (T.J. Quesnel and Roy ) but others aren't as clear so I figured it would interesting to see what they mean and why you chose it. Rod Caster---just one amonst a series of silly fishing names I've come up with like Jim Jigger, Pat Poacher etc...
  6. !! Nice. Can I borrow that walleye for the OFC tourney? Those drum fight like a bat out of hell don't they?
  7. If it wasn't for some shipping prices, and fear of losing my items, I would buy from the US all the time. Our salaries are definitely not 20-30% higher, why/how can we pay/afford that much more. This subject grinds my goat.
  8. I caught few like your first photo in the tiniest of creeks yesterday.its amazing where they can survive..especially over the winter with no lakes nearby. An amazing and beautiful species. Edit: Don't wanna take over, just add to your thread. Another little wee-guy.
  9. Good haul! Did you think you had a monster walleye at first? Your lucky to have a wife who asks our favorite question "wanna go fishing?" I was in the bug infested bush for 8 hours with my gf, and for the most part she loves it BUT she WONT touch les poissons. Oh well haha
  10. At least you tried... now like others said, Go catch them! We are patient, we will wait.
  11. Fish first, photos second! haha, good job snapping your cold streak! But, at 11:11 your supposed to think of somebody special, which means you should have texted your wife before the cast. haha. Congrats on respecting the fishery! The CO's must like running into guys like you. Hopefully the boaters didn't hurt your honey hole.
  12. Here's a drum caught from Nipissing shoreline. caught using a worms and worm harness.
  13. How the heck are our Canadian Wigglers more expensive that yours!!?? haha, wow we get the shaft here.
  14. $7 for 4 doz is expensive???? Try $5/doz here.
  15. looks great on them. two fewer idiots on our waters!
  16. It's nice to have success on something you made with own sweat. That's a nice looking piece.
  17. Little beauties indeed! Now that is a great day off.
  18. Yup, Thomas put up some incredible numbers all year, AND won a cup. A great accomplishment to say the least
  19. Nice! Glad to see you heeded warning and caught some fish. I'll have to try it some day. I also had no luck on Black River... Nice waterway though
  20. Haha, the rioters should be automatically enlisted into the army. That would stop 'em. Congrats boston, they were by far the better team. Vancouver let this one slip away.
  21. Geology Rocks man! I'm a self proclaimed rockhound. If the fossils are in limestone or clay, which they probably are, then you are best to bring a rock-pick (rock hammer) and a chisel, open the rocks at the fissures and cracks and carefully open them up, look at every layer before moving on. Other times, just smashing rocks will expose some nice specimens. The best place to look is near the water, where the fossils will be exposed by natural erosion. Good luck! post photos if you find cool ones. A cool fact about fossils is that they are not bones anymore, but actual rock that has replaced the organic material.
  22. wow, those are some hefty walleyes. Hook and worm you say? Exactly what hook did you use, how big was the worm and how did you hook it. hehe, simple is usually a good method, well done.
  23. My head hurts and beer doesn't taste as good.
  24. Yes it does. I fished another small lake further north today and only got a few pike. Beautiful weather made it all worth the effort! Solo: only premium ingredients for this paddler hehe Manitou; I didn't notice any blue, probably just the pic. That would have been neat though. Mike01: franks indeed..xtra hot! Slayer: don't worry; I don't think anybody has lost the OFC tourney because of just a few inches... Right? Hehe uh oh
  25. I'm just preparing for todays outing. It's nice to sleep in somedays. If anyone is wondering, this is what my sandwich looks like. PM me if you'd like the recipe.
