  1. Basic particulate breathing filters should be enough. There is very little to protect against unless you have identified the mold type and/or allergies by any of your workers. I wouldn't worry too much about it to be honest... We mostly measure the severity of mold based on square meter surface coverage; a short term exposure should do little if no harm at all... Unless someone has an accute allergy. As their supervisor/employer, make sure you follow the MOL and OHS act requirments... Other than that, wear gloves, protect clothing and do some dust control and don't freak out your workers. Breathing a lot of dust would be worse than a little bit of mold spores. Edit: Square meter not Cubic
  2. Hilarious Joey I think I saw that guy walking around Bonfield, I mean Redbridge, I mean Sturgeon Falls Some more alternative country http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tWo4LTWj0DA&feature=related
  3. Good summer so far! It must be very fun learning a new lake, especially one which you have a cottage on!
  4. Yup. Its real nice there. Even has an ecological learning center. Not far away you have Talon Chutes. Mike you are right, there are trout nearby... But I won't say where (whistling). Moore lake itself has good pike, musky and bass... At night set up a line and get some big burbot.
  5. aww brothers wearing matching fishing shirts That bass is a football!!
  6. That's a BIG walleye!! SOunds like it fought like a wet-sock though haha.
  7. Welcome aboard! I went 5 for my first 5 casts yesterday including a 4lbs smally. Finished with 30 for the day I'm not rubbing it in I swear
  8. I wonder how that "better spot" worked out for that family haha. Great catch and a good read. Thanks
  9. I've seen walleye doing this in the late spring, chasing the baitfish into the shallow creeks. Only once have I caught walleye in a small stream, mid-summer. Very cool to see.
  10. Looks like he's just gobbling up every bit of fish haha. Too funny
  11. X2. Aagawa bay and old woman bay are nearby and are WELL worth the visit. Agawa actually has showers/services and would be ok for the fam
  12. One guy in north bay serves perch at his chip truck. Mike near the Fifth wheel truck stop.
  13. Most nature in and around the city is all screwed up and unaturalized anyway. It only makes sense that if there was a bear around it would be quickly dispatched. Big city life...you get what you ask for. I'd still rather deal with angry bears than angry gangs Nuissance bears up here go unreported and smothered in BBQ sauce. Since the MNR is reportedly out of money, I don't think they really care or know about a few missing, garbage eating bears.
  14. Fantastic! Great find. I'm suprised I didn't see this yesterday as I listened to his music for a couple hours last night.
  15. Just discovered this guy:thumbsup_anim: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kCFAXOcc8Uo
  16. Thems fightin' words haha just kidding, I totally agree. Those little pan fryers are like swimming candy. Who would have guessed that a diet of insects and worms would produce such a nice flavor.
  17. That's how we cook 'em in algonquin park. Sans the garlic however. Enjoy mon frere
  18. Holy cow! Good job fishing out nipissing. Any left? Haha. I'd say he'll definitly be back to nipissing at some point in his life... Some great memories were just made.
  19. Temps are returning to reasonable up in North Bay. This +30 at night is something I am not built for. I can handle a couple days, but a couple months? +15 for tomorrow I believe... Perfect!!
  20. Calder winner Raycroft is still available? Get him Burke, GET HIM!
  21. 10lbs power pro. I don't see myself switching brands anytime soon... This stuff is great! For this trip, I tied it directly to some home-made leaders. For walleye and bass I just uni-uni or improved surgeon knot to some mono or fluoro. My Abu Soron STX20 also held up well, it has a really great drag system on it... The reel is noisier than I'd prefer but it handles the abuse with ease. I'm happy but not in love with it.
  22. Haha, ya, rookies... Sheesh. Never got the sandle back, I dug around the area for a couple minutes but it never floated to the surface. After I released the fish, I had to search for my rod too, luckily the rod was easy to find in the muddy water!
  23. Those salmon in your latest report sure make a good argument for staying
  24. Absolutely agree. People are generally bad behaving until they learn otherwise. Until I litterally yelled at a guy for chucking a can of beans into the lake this weekend, the other "newbies" would have followed suit. After that they were all embarassed to do stupid things because they knew I'd snap, swim for the can of beans and put it in their pillow case. Their sense of ownership and love of the lake was very high afterwards...but they would not have taken that path without some pressure. This " do what I want until someone catches me" attitude is extremely prevalent. Needs to be addressed accordingly...South or North.
