Another awesome report Simon. And 2 happy fishermen. I'm glad you didn't have that video camera when you took me out. You would have had to much editing to do cause I tend to get a little more excited then them when I catch fish like that.

Live bait works best Lew..... :rofl2:

Do not charge it in your living room. Charge it out on the balcony. Set the charger on 2 amp only to charge a deep cycle. Hook the positive clamp on first, then the negative. When unhooking the clamps, take the negative off first, this will avoid sparking. The gas's that a battery gives off when charging will stink up you apartment. The smoking part means, dont have a cigarette in your hand while handling the battery while it is on the charger. Yes you can smoke in the boat while fishing. As for the cooler to keep the battery dry, not a good idea as gas's can be released from the battery and build up inside the cooler. Besides the battery case is plastic so water wont hurt it. Batteries can explode if not handled properly, and when they do it is like a bomb exploding. Handle it properly and you wont have to worry.

Two thumbs up for you grampper -
I have a pair of berkleys from wal mart. They have the 2 times magnifier on the bottom so I can see my knots that i tie in the fishing line. Polarized for $ 24.99 and I use them for every thing including driving. If they get lost or broken then its only 25 bucks down the drain.

The boat is starting to look great Skipper!! Just remember that when you install a fish finder to NOT use a suction cup mount. It's been 2 days since your last updated report skipper. :dunno: We want an update with pictures. :thumbsup_anim:

As long as you had a good time, size doesn't matter.

It is to maximize fishing time and minimize travelling time.

"Gentek Building Products" You measure the size of windows you need, then order them. It takes 2 weeks for them to make them and they are good windows!

The renovations have begun! The shingles are the first step. These had to go. With the help of Tracker(Don) and Renee, we started striping the old shingles and tar paper off. Then we install the 2 sky lights. That was fun-LOL Then comes the roofing paper . On Monday Ron (Skipper) showed up to give Don and I a hand with the shingles, which made the job a lot easier. The roof had no vents on it to let the hot air out, so we installed 4 new vents on it, and the shingles. The next step is to replace all the thin cheap trailer windows with real house windows. Single hung tilt sliders, which means that they slide up/down and you can tilt them inside the trailer to clean the outside windows from inside. ;D Then the new siding will be going on. Thanks for the help Don, Renee and Ron !!! :thumbsup_anim: Now the roof looks GREAT !!!

Isn't there more then 1 building down at the EX? -
It all depends on where you are coming from and where you are going too. For me, when I worked in mississauga, I would take the back roads up. I would make my way over to york-durham line 30, which is just east of hwy 48. Go north to cnty rd 11 (sandford rd)and go east, to cnty rd 1 (concession rd 7 ) then head north to cnty rd 13 and go east to cnty rd 2(simcoe rd).Quick little jog up to cnty rd 4 (little Britain)and head east on it until you hit hwy 7 in Lindsay. Then turn right on 7 until I get to fowlers corner. 2 hour drive from dixie rd & 401 to fowlers corner, any day of the week, not traffic jams once you get to cnty rd 30.

Ontario fishing regulations are printed in more then just english ! Every culture has news papers, radio station's, and tv stations in their own language. Ignorance of the law is NO excuse !

Lew, wanna stop by my place on the way to Cliff's and grab my lawnmower? Just kidding. I have a problem with mine too, hope fully I can fix it next weekend. If the shaft from the broken motor will fit the newer one. Tried to fire up the lawnmower and it didn't turn over like it did 2 weeks ago, then it locked up tight on the 4th pull. Saturday, Had to fix the leak in the stihl gas trimmer, then remove the engine from the lawnmower as I had a spare engine from another lawnmower . Get the engine on and fire it up. Fired up on the 3rd pull----yahoo.......... Went to cut the grass and it wasn't cutting it. Blade is sharp and it is spinning, so I lowered the lawnmower to it's lowest setting and it was just barely taking the top of the grass off. Measured the old motor from the motor to the blade, 4.5 inches Measured the new motor the same way, 3.5 inches. :wallbash:
