  1. Pulled a little guy out between some rocks, love seeing the wake appear out of nowhere behind your lure’s wake and see the fish match your increased reel speed all the way to the boat.

  2. Interesting article. https://fishingbuzz.co.uk/the-anglers-brain-who-we-are-and-why-fishing-is-integral-to-our-mental-health/#:~:text=Dopamine%20is%20addictive%3B%20that's%20why,makes%20us%20feel%20great%20too.

  3. The walleye were gorging fish flies on the mud flat, was like a carpet of walleye down there, all the same size 16”-18”ers, but fun catching ‘em non stop.
  4. Had the pleasure of guiding a lovely couple on Wabigoon, they had never been to Canada and they LOVED IT! Really fun day with these guys.
  5. Thanks, it’s a tough job but someone has to do it 😊
  6. Hi all, I do the odd guiding gig at Wabigoon Lake Outfitters here on beautiful Wabigoon Lake, always fun going out with repeat customers, and the walleye did not disappoint, caught well over 80 for the afternoon with plenty of slots and overs, the kid was a slip bobber wizard.
  7. Nah, purely scouting mission for the folks I guided today, they got 60 between them with 2x26”, 1x24”, 2 x 23” and numerous in the 18” to 21” range and enough eaters to feed a small village. Job Done me thinks.
  8. Has to be done right?!
  9. Last week the walleye moved out to the main lake, humps were loaded, especially ones that topped out between 15’’ to 20’ feet deep, although one reef that topped out at 8’ held a few decent slot fish.
  10. Finally got out in my own boat on Wednesday, the water temps are unseasonal to say the least, but the fish were where they should be this time of year. Great fun sight fishing crappie!

  11. Spend almost every chance I get down on our dock in the evening this time of year, fishing is good, it’s not far to go and the bugs are pretty much non existent. My dog loves fishing too, ever since he was a pup.
  12. Only had an hour after work on opening day and boat was in the shop still, so the dock was my friend. Lots of small ones but enough to scratch the itch.
  13. Roloff was in just before him, poor dog is very much the n his last legs though.
  14. Nice! I’m casting for pike from our dock tonight, but whities sound funerer .

  21. Amazing work.
  22. Hi all, still around 2 foot of fairly decent ice, walleyes get a break for a bit, but crappies are still fair game! Better get out today as well before we get hit by the winter storm tomorrow.
