  1. He's a fine lad then B.B. The apple doesn't fall too far from the tree.....unless the tree is on the peak of the hill.
  2. I use a Shimano Curado 300DSV. It is a great reel for big bucktails. http://www.tackletour.com/reviewshimanocurado300dhsvpg3.html
  3. Congrats Billy Bob. But...if he can't kill a squirrel with a pea-shooter then he is no red-neck son of yours, lol.
  4. Welcome back Dana. Great report. Try to smile in a few pics.
  5. We left alot in there R.C. Got out tonight with a couple buddies. 3 of us in the boat and we managed 28 walleye in under 3 hours. Also caught a few perch a pike and a sheepshead. We were along the waterfront trolling/drifting in 14-17 feet of water. Water temp was 66 tonight but it was 70 on Thurs in the same area. Go-getters tipped with half a worm and jig with stinger hook tipped with worm caught everything for us. Lots of small eyes in the 9-12" range but at the end of the night we took home 12 fish that were all 13.5-15.5". Here are my 4 keepers.
  6. What do you think? I'll take Kings in 6. What a strange play-offs this has been.
  7. Pretty sure my 1st reply is bang on. Offer $4000-$4500 and as a friend he will take it. Probably worth $6500 - $7500.
  8. He was fishing for pike. Pre-fishing for a tournament that is in that area this coming weekend.
  9. Randy I also saw some big walleye caught this past weekend. Our park produced 29", 28", 26", and 25". I have a buddy that pre-fished Cache Bay this past weekend and he did terrible fishing spots he "thought" the pike would be at.
  10. All my family is in and around Kirkland Lake. They shut down Kirkland Lake Gold Mine and it could cost the company millions. The fire was 2000 hectares as of last night.
  11. You have 4 fingers showing and your dad (I'm guressing) has 5 fingers (actually 4 and a thumb) + you are holding a walleye. So I was guessing that you caught 4 and he caught 5? Or you both caught 5? Anyways, as you are just posting a test pic we were having some fun. The OOS comment was also a joke. BTW I am a huge Giants fan. Can't strand the cry baby Habs though.
  12. 9 or 10 walleye?
  13. Ohhhh the horror. Is this a hunting forum now? JK killed a 100 of them buggers in my life.
  14. Ooops, you're right. Sorry.
  15. Check out post #13 in the other fire ban thread. The ban covers all of Ontario except the very southern part.
  16. Yep I agree Chad. If someone replied in the thread with specific info on that lake then they would be in the wrong. No harm in asking.
  17. o.k. so more weight equals hotter tires equals more wear.
  18. I'll go to bat for fishNwire on this one. He is not challenging the OP in any way. It is not about the topic.....rather the double standard applied to North vs. South or Big City vs. small town.
  19. I'll get them on here after the weekend.
  20. I know you say your air pressure is correct but make sure the air pressure is for LOADED trailer. THe tire pressure ratings on the tires is for empty trailer. Add the weight of boat, trailer, gas, gear, etc and your air pressure will be too much. I blew out a brand new tire on it's first ride (5+ hours) because I had too much air in the tires and balooned them causeing the centers of the tire to thin out.
  21. Ummmmmm.......this is awkward........ I'm not gay Chad.........LMAO.....
  22. I was using my crappy cell phone camera. I was too lazy/tired to walk the 15 steps it would have taken to get my digi cam.
  23. I used to take a Salmon trip to Manitoulin Island each fall but stopped a few years back. I have 4-5 J-plugs and other plugs (one says "made by Gold star and the other says Silver Harde) that I will be puting up for sale.
  24. Thanks guys. They were in a tackle box I was given. No Salmon here in North Bay .
  25. I am sure some of you know what these are? I have no clue. I guess they are for trolling? No markings on any of them.
