Between 8 and 10pm....saw 3 really good ones. The best was seeing one above the clouds....disappear behind it....and then shoot out the other side. Couldn't stay up to see the big show later...the clouds rolled in shortly after 10 where I am anyways.

Between 8 and 9pm last night, I saw a very faint aurora borealis!! At first I thought it was my imagination, but there was a cool "wavy" look to the "clouds" that I saw. A few times...for only a few seconds at a time, it was pretty well defined. Then the clouds rolled in.

LOL...what happened to going to a library and reading? Oh wait...do they even still have libraries?? What about encyclopedias....I mean the book kind....hmm....I must be getting old

Carole and I went out last night to look at the sky and we were treated with a very weak aurora borealis and about 3 really nice meteors!!! Beautiful night that's for sure!

Yep...gonna be cloudy with rain here too. The last time I woke up for a meteor shower was when the Leonid was supposed to put on a great show...I think about 5 years ago. The prime time was 3am, so I went to bed early, set up the coffeemaker and slept. I woke up, got dressed, had a coffee, grabbed my camera, camcorder and tripod to witness this awesome show. As soon as I stepped outside, I was greeted with the THICKEST pea soup fog I had ever seen. I couldn't even see across my street!! I was not in a good mood....haha. Now I have a 4 year old daughter....I dont wake up early anymore....she's my alarm clock

Heard on the radio this morning (680 news) that they now expect communication interruption and that the astronauts aboard the space station have been ordered into a specially designed area to protect them.

Oh man....that sucks!!! I hope the car doesn't cost too much. My morning was fine, but not too long ago, I had an important early morning meeting, so I left my house extra early. I stopped for gas in Scarborough, and when I put the key in the ignition, it broke off!!! Long story short, 2 hours later a CAA guy comes, tows it to a dealership and by 3pm, I have a new key.

Oh man....if they still landed the fish, that guy deserves a medal!!!!
