Happy to hear your nephew is safe and sound...and I was wondering if anyone on this board had any ties to students at that school. Very sad for all students, staff, friends and family that have to work through this.

"The two attacks associated with the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history that killed 33 people and wounded 15 came two hours apart, with the second one leaving 31 dead, including the gunman. The motives for both shootings are yet known; however, earlier reports indicated that the first shooting incident at West Ambler Johnston, a co-ed dormitory, in which two people were killed, may be a separate, domestic incident. It has been reported that he may have been an ex-boyfriend of the first victim, a woman who was killed in the dorm, but police have not confirmed that information. Heard on the news on the way into the office that there may have been two separate gun men....unrelated incidents. A possible murder/suicide in a dorm room (domestic in nature)...and then a few hours later another gunman stormed the campus which resulted in the remainder of the killings/injuries. Very sad none-the-less.....

I remember a truckers strike/demonstration on the 401 out my way when I lived in Ajax....around 1986 or 1987 I think. Completely stopped traffic for a few days....it was an incredible sight! People left their cars on the highway and walked to work....or back home. Local restaurants were hiring kids on bicycles to deliver food to them. Cost the province billions if I recall.

Wow!!! Same thing happened to my mother last year. Thought it was flu or food poisoning ended up being a twisted bowel/blockage. They hoped it would resolve itself with rest and medication, but when it didn't it was a quick operation to fix it. Glad to hear you came through it with flying colours! Get well soon!

I have two spools...LOL. The one with thick line is for Walleye and Pike....the one with thinner line is for Steelhead. Pretty scientific eh??? haha.

Basskicker...the honour was mine!! You are a great guy to fish and chat with. Next time though, the coffee's are on me. Even though the weather was bad (wouldn't have been too bad if it wasn't so windy), I still had a great time. You were right...seemed like that fish was going to come in nice and easy and then BAM....it went darting everywhere. As for netting, I'm getting good at it because I net all of bly's fish...LOL. At least my float went down once...I was thinking my roe was rotten...haha. That "opener secret spot" was awesome to see. We must have seen 50 fish in the short time we were there...and you know there were probably at least another 50 we didn't even see. It was killing me though...all those fish and not a thing I could do about it....LOL. You had some great pics there...I have only one to add.... Anyhow, had a great time....thanks a lot for the info and the company. You ever need a fishing partner, you just let me know. Cliff
