  1. I'm guessing the fish is 5 pounds...based on 19" length and 15" girth.
  2. Welcome to the board!
  3. Oh no!!! Very sorry to hear about this. We've had to put pets down too...we know how you feel. Our condolences to you and your wife. Cliff and Carole
  4. Wow...what a fantastic read! Great pics too! So...I'm thinking after I read it...are the locations mentioned here, fake ones...or real ones??? LOL. Anyhow, it worked out great...you had a great time...my best fishing partner is my wife as well. Thanks for taking the time to write all this up...must have taken a long time!!!
  5. Great report! Was a bit of work getting to your spot....well a bit of work for me....and short little jaunt for you...LOL. You got into some fish and got outside...that's the important thing. Bly and I are thinking of hitting some local tribs this week to see what's swimming around.
  6. Great report Mike! You have a real eye for some great picture taking! Nothing beats fishing with kids...especially when they are catching! Looked like a great day to be out fishing!
  7. Sorry to hear about losing the original report 007!! Nice job out there...lots of great pics there. So you haven't decided if you are counting that bowfin yet...hmmm...that's a tough call. Looked like a great day to be out!
  8. Ok...this cant be real can it? Can someone really be this conceited? I mean, I completely rule, but come on!!! LOL
  9. Yeah yeah yeah...it worked...for about 30 seconds...LOL. I have a good raincoat...next time I'll wear my hip waders to keep my legs and feet dry.
  10. Wow...some real nice Walleye there! Welcome to the board...if you've been following along for a while, then you know that there are a lot of great members here. Great intro and pics! Looking forward to hearing more from you.
  11. Victor...sorry to hear about your rod and reel!!! I've yet to do that, but it's only a matter of time. Think of it this way...it's an offering to the fishing gods...you'll have a great outing next time! Nice report and pics Victor...glad to see you were still able to catch a few...cold fronts are hit and miss that's for sure!
  12. Aww man, that really sucks! Sorry to hear this news. I suspect when Headhunter sees this thread, he'll ask for some more details from you. Good luck man!
  13. Wow!! What a great part one Will! Sorry to hear about that darned cold front, but you still managed to boat enough for some real nice meals. Some amazing wildlife shots there. Will be waiting for part 2!!!!
  14. Wow...great report and pics! It's good to know that the fishing is great down in the city...for those times you just cant get up north. Awesome stuff!
  15. Great report! Nicely done with the pics considering you were alone and had to use your cell phone! Some great info in this report as well....too bad I dont have a boat to try it all out on though...LOL. Thanks for the report...I really enjoyed it....even though I cant help you on the "name that fish" question.
  16. Wow! Excellent report and great to see another family out there having a great time on the water! Great job for everyone on this one...with you daughter meeting her fishing goals and that great musky! Your son will reach his goals this summer...I'm just sure of it. Kudos to your wife for sticking it out up there with an ear infection...hope you all adorned her with nice gifts....LOL. Thanks for taking the time to post this...it's a great read.

  18. Fantastic report Brian!!! Wow...20 boats at the launch...that would be the time I pick to do something really dumb...good thing I dont own a boat...LOL. You guys had a great day out there...middle of the pack finish is very respectable. Great job and pics!
  19. Great report Johnny!! And yes...it looks like you made the right decision for sure! Lots of great pics there. I was in Muskoka and it pretty much rained all day long, so BOQ was a great spot for you. Thanks for the report and pics!
  20. Great report Johnny!! And yes...it looks like you made the right decision for sure! Lots of great pics there. I was in Muskoka and it pretty much rained all day long, so BOQ was a great spot for you. Thanks for the report and pics!
  21. Great report Brian! Congrats to your son on his third place finish! Sorry to hear that you didn't fare as well, but you said it....you got to relax!! Nice pics...I had to do a double take on those last few pics as well....LOL.
  22. Hey young one! Great job on the PB!! That is one NICE fish!
  23. Awesome report! Sorry to hear about your leg, but you were true to your word and tried not to let that get in the way of having a nice family vacation. Your daughter is quite the fishing machine...and I'm sure your little guy will be reeling them in soon enough. Some VERY nice fish there...great pics!
  24. Mike...in my family, fishing with the kids automatically mean no fishing for me...haha. I know how you feel! As long as they are catching fish...no matter what size, it keeps them busy and happy. Good job out there....there may have been whining and bickering, but at least the fists didn't start flying...LOL. Great report and pics Mike...always enjoy your reports!
  25. I have 8 lb mono for my mainline...and depending on the clarity of the creek/river, I'll use from 4 to 6 pound fluro leaders. It's a lot cheaper losing a hook and a few pieces of shot, then floats...mind you, I snag a LOT in the waters I fish....LOL.
